Brown said, This executive order is done under emergency power. It has the force of law. Very unusual. Its requiring action and changes in behavior from the Oregon border all the way to the Mexican border. It affects lawns. It affects peoples how long they stay in the shower. How businesses use water.

Time to remove the governor.
Let me see. How are they going to monitor this, by a timer on the shower head, with a cut-off?
What if someone wants to take one long shower a week instead of a short one every day?
God, I get sick of hearing that line. “Oh, parts of California are beautiful ...”
Who gives a shyte? Hell may have a scenic overlook, but I doubt the view is worthy of the destination.
What are they going to do, put a timer or some sort of meter on your shower?
Stay the hell out of our bathrooms.
I enjoyed Yosemite, and Sequoia Ntl Forest and I’m glad I went, never seen anything like it anywhere else. I will take my children there too.
I would never suggest that anyone pass over these two destinations because of politics. They once are too spectacular to miss.
The rest of California is unremarkable as it goes. It looks like a desert.
Good. You have never been to California. Stay there.
As always the average residents that use a small portion of the water will pay the biggest price, while the politically connected cronies will do what they want.
If they do not have enough water then they should have been discouraging illegal immigration instead of creating sanctuary cities. They should have been putting infrastructure fees on development if it more infrastructure to accommodate.
Why are they not developing thorium reactors to power salt desalinization plants? Instead we are borrowing from China along with sending our jobs there, while wasting lives and trillions sticking our nose in every country in the world?
Wow...that’s a pretty bitter attitude.
You would pass over seeing the giant Sequoia’s because of the politics of a Nitwit Governor?
You sound just like them commies...Go have yourself a visit, see those trees. Spend a day walking around living trees that are 2500+ years old. It would do you some good. Then maybe you might realize that Governor Moonbeam is insignificant. These trees were there long before us and him, and will be there long after we’re gone.
For people like Jerry Brown, they enjoy a drought in order to intervene into people’s personal lives. Never let a crisis go to waste.
if it weren't for the rat politics, California would be a wonderful place to lift....it literally has everything within its boundaries...rivers, lakes, ocean, desert, mountains, forests, farms, wild animals...
Smell’n crap, ouder...
It IS a desert.
The conservatives in California have my empathy, but the rest of those loons down there can fall into the ocean for all I care.
There is much beauty in California, in years past, I have seen much of it. It’s the people that have removed California from my list of places to go.
Gee, I wonder how much water the illegals have used up....?
“The rest of California is unremarkable as it goes. It
looks like desert.”
HA...HAHAAAA....HAHAHAHAHA! You are just full of bullshit.
Redwood Forest, Mt Shasta, the Central Coast, the Motherlode,
Lake Tahoe, the North Coast, the Delta. Yah, Cali is just
a desert except for Yosemite and Sequoia.
Hands up, showers matter.
But my parenta are shorter, so it only stands to reason I'd need to take a longer shower.
Wow, sorry you will miss out on the most beautiful state in the Union. California is home to the tallest trees in the world.
The oldest tree.
http://www.livescience.com/29152-oldest-tree-in-world.html
The highest mountain in the contiguous 48. The second lowest place on Earth.
California actually has the first National Park. The distinction between Yellowstone, is that California was a state at the time, so Kings Canyon/Sequoia was turned over to the state, whereas Wyoming was not so the National Park Service was established.
I could go on, but the wonders of California are well documented. Unfortunately, since you are so repulsed by the government, which is understandable, you will miss beauty that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world.
