When it comes to his public commentary, there are times when NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley is spot on. Then there are times when he’s so far off you know he has no idea on Earth what he’s talking about. Barkley’s recent comments regarding the fabricated controversy over Indiana’s religious freedom bill is a perfect example of the latter.

“America’s always had a racial problem,” Barkley told CNN’s Chris Cuomo late Thursday evening.
“Now we have a homophobic problem,” he continued. “Any form of discrimination, you have to check it.”
Barkley added that Indiana’s latest legislation deliberately targeted people based on their sexual orientation. The retired basketball star, now an analyst on the TNT network, said that discussions about lost religious liberties were thus a false flag.
“Gay people didn’t go after Christians,” he argued. “They came after gay people. Let’s get that straight.”
“It’s strictly about discrimination,” Barkley claimed. “They just don’t like gay people. I wish they would just say that.”
Christians who oppress others “always hide behind the Bible,” concluded Barkley.
I told you- Charles has no clue what he’s talking about.
Sorry Charles, we don’t ‘have a homophobic problem,’ may man. The projection of homophobia onto people who refuse to be coerced into blithely accepting the radical gay agenda is slander- and it’s done intentionally. Rather than Charles- and the Left, particularly- accepting the fact that many people have sincere, ideological and moral objections that accompany the so-called tolerance and diversity of the gay agenda, he simply dismissed and slandered these people as ‘homophobic.’ Please. Very few people are actually afraid of homosexuals. Barkley also continues to do what so many people have done this past week- especially those who haven’t taken the five minutes to actually read Indiana’s bill (or any current religious freedom bill, for that matter) and that’s to read into the bill something that isn’t there. Indiana’s bill doesn’t “deliberately” target people based on their sexual orientation. It doesn’t target anybody, period. But that fact doesn’t matter. To the intellectually lazy and those whose intent is to mischaracterize and slander those with whom they differ, lies and mischaracterization are legitimate tools to be employed in pursuit of their goal.
And of course, Charles blames Christians for discrimination, oppression, and going after gay people while hiding behind the Bible- a book which I doubt he’s read, like so many of the Left- with zero evidence to legitimate such a blatantly false and foolish statement. In actuality, it’s the other way around. Christians have gone out of their way to love their neighbors, doing unto others which they would want done to them, so often, that it’s been abused by its cultural benefactors. Christians have turned the other cheek so much that their faces are sore to the touch.
This isn’t about discrimination. This isn’t about homophobia. This isn’t about Christians oppressing others or going after gay people using the Bible as motivation. This is about the intentional lying, mischaracterization and bullying by people on the Left whose goal- besides upending everything that makes America great- is to stamp out religious freedom because it’s the last recognizable obstacle preventing the Left from fully implementing their morally perverted worldview.

Barkley is a big Soetoro rump swab.
Maybe Bigmouth-Barkley is trying to make up for more recent remarks about blacks acting responsibly, remarks that possibly bordered on sounding conservative! Maybe Barkley is afraid of getting the Cosby Treatment by going against the flow and agreeing ‘with the White Man’ just a little too often.

Nobody who is gay isn’t known to be gay unless they self identify, being black is not a choice. Or any other color for that matter.
Who cares with what he says. His opinion doesn’t matter any more than yours or mine. Why do people care about what these people think.
With perfect non discrimination marriages, indeed all arrangements, would be made by lottery. Every choice must be totally randomized, not just among “relevant” options but among ALL options.Discrimination is just so WRONG! If I choose a steak that is denigrating hamburger, and grass, too, and stones. The proper alternative to evil discrimination is total catatonia of everyone.
Sorry Charles, homosexuals are targeting Christians to intimidate and drive them out of business. Also, Christians love the sinner, but you want us to love the sin which is not right.

Gosh, I so look forward to these little nuggets of knowledge from Charles Barkley. He puts out a newsletter every month called BARKLEY’S BITS where he provides sage advice and comments on many things.
Last month he had an article on why you shouldn’t put bees up your nose.
The month before he offered advice on getting an aardvark out of your shorts.
The man goes to Las Vegas and gets a Bingo card and says “Hit me!”.
