Prayers for the cadet and the cadet's family.
Yikes. Sounds like a blanket-party gone wrong.
Hazing incident that got out of control? Prayers for this cadet and his family.
Attacks on campus since January? Unacceptable.
Most of the hazing takes place after induction in the summer or maybe we’ll into first semester - as a former sh@$ screen mine went slightly into second semester. By now it should have wellsettled down. This sounds likely to be something else it’s just after or before spring break - maybe a love interest or prank gone wrong. If it wasn’t in the dorm Id say something in phys Ed ... Prayers up.
Agree. I wonder if the attackers are cadets. None of the recent graduate emails have mentioned anything about it.
I had a friend who taught there. Said it was awful.
When could a blanket party ever go right???
Awful in what way?
Could be a suicide.
Prolly an outspoken anti-homo cadet.
Everyone, sometimes even healthy kids drop dead. Let’s wait for the Academy to finish the investigation. Remember that a member of the AFA swim team had a heart attack during spring break last week - stress can break people in different ways.
Air Force Academy cites attacks as reason for halting solo hikes, trail rides
Air Force Academy remains quiet on new trail rules after on-campus attacks
Not likely. 4th classmen have it pretty easy there.
Prayers up.
Blanket party, gone bad?
When it's just sufficient to change the guest-of-honor's behavior without real damage?
Blanket parties come about due to failures in leadership.
RIP.
True, leadership should weed out the scrounge, the malingerer, the shirker. But they don’t always succeed.
And, I forgot to mention, the bully.
