Agree. I wonder if the attackers are cadets. None of the recent graduate emails have mentioned anything about it.

I did a little checking and very few details have been released about the attacks. There are several trails on the Academy grounds that are used for hiking and biking, but they can also be used by the public. A couple related articles are:
