Question for a Mormon

How does the Mormon community react when one Mormon tells lies about another Mormon and brags of the lie's success.

As apposed to your religion which has to rely on the voices in their heads because they've never heard the voice of God.

Mighty bold statement from a one-eyed fatman.

That's THE most revealing statement that you've ever given.

Remember to stay on our mantra: We ARE Christians!!

We've been taking a beating on the Internet - especially from those hateful ANTIs on FreeRepublic!

We MUST keep the media constantly informed of those things the world considers christian.

We must NOT allow our MORMONness to show thru, as it has gotten a really bad rap thru history - lord only knows why...

Only a person that truly has grit could make such a statement.

I can expect an answer from you around the time.... that Storm Prepper successfully answers problems of his chosen religion instead of veering off on a tangent.

The problems are all in your mind. And no answer, not even from God Himself would change your mind.

You keep saying I don't answer when I have 100's of posts doing just that... but that's your pet meme...

Are you watching General Conference? I am... President Monson just announced three new Temples!! YAAAAA!!!

IDK that it’s so much as matter for the “Mormon Community”. In most cases in the realm of politics, wherein hyperbole is a staple, just like criticism of the Church itself and/or its practices, most just shed it off like a duck does with water.

When a Latter-Day Saint (what we properly refer to ourselves as, “Mormon” we accept as a cultural denonym) wishes to get or renew his ‘recommend’ to attend the Temple, one of the question (s)he is asked if if (s)he is honest in her/his dealings. It’s largely a self-evaluation. I can’t think of any situation where a Bishop or Stake President would take a member to task over political squabbles, especially since the Church’s position is to be strictly non-partisan.
