The governor of California has created the state's mandatory water reduction orders, following a historic drought.
The order mandates a 25% reduction in water sage for cities and town across the state.

Damn, after all these years I missed that.

What’s going to happen is the water board will up the rates because people aren’t using as much .....
Yup about the flushing, lol.
It seems like Brown is a thousand years old and has been gov forever! I was in the same HS class with his niece and we got a special audience in Sacto when we were seniors (early 80s)... She was a flake too though.
What is going with you?
Post 27 was a simple, straight forward, and informative post on the thread topic and your reference to desalination, and it sets you off on a personal vendetta?
Hyperbole, don't you think?
No, we're cool.

Get Jettison Salvage to yank the engines off the vulture spaceship and anchor them to some bergs.
Its happening here already .. Probably 25-30% hikes.. And same for reduction in usage.
Evidently not, what set you off about post 27.
Is there something in the information that you didn’t like, can you just comment on it only?
I can fill up the trunk of my pickup and take a dip - I don’t need a garbage can!
“Just reroute the Columbia River to California.
Problem solved!”
Just the suggestion would give the enviro-wackos a seizure. Just like mentioning building the Grand Canal Project which would redirect massive amounts of fresh snow-pack runoff water from James Bay in Canada to the Great Lakes, then channel the water throughout the south western states. The water otherwise just drains into Hudson’s Bay and is wasted. Just mention that to an enviro-wacko and they go batty with end of the world environmental predictions, especially the ones north of the border.
Water solutions are available, the only thing that stands in the way are liberal elitists.
They can take over Florida’s maxim (we don’t need it anymore) -—
If it’s yellow, that’s mellow.
If it’s brown, flush it on down.
No, FDR signed an executive order creating the internment camps, not the governor of California.
They already voted for this idiot.
There is real talk about evacuating parts of California, and seizing further water rights from the West and High Plains states.
I didn’t use the word “governor” in my post:
As Attorney General, Warren is most remembered for being the moving force behind Japanese internment during World War II. This was the compulsory removal of 120,000 Americans of Japanese descent from the West Coast to inland internment camps, without any charges or due process - when anti-Japanese racism was extremely popular in California. Following the Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941, Warren organized the state’s civilian defense program, warning in January 1942 that, “The Japanese situation as it exists in this state today may well be the Achilles heel of the entire civilian defense effort.”[11][12] He later said he:
since deeply regretted the removal order and my own testimony advocating it, because it was not in keeping with our American concept of freedom and the rights of citizens...Whenever I thought of the innocent little children who were torn from home, school friends, and congenial surroundings, I was conscience-stricken...[i]t was wrong to react so impulsively, without positive evidence of disloyalty
