From the New Hampshire Union Leader:
MANCHESTER In his first visit to New Hampshire as a declared candidate for President, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz drew a line in the sand, one that he hopes will separate him from the rest of the pack in a crowded Republican primary.
He embraced his reputation as the most conservative candidate as his surest path to victory.

So far, he can certainly rally me.
"Republicans lost the White House in 2008
and again in 2012, because Sen. John McCain and Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney
failed to ignite conservative passions."
I don't want to be the "surest path" to victory.
I want conservatism to be "victorious"!
Cruz was great on CNN “State of the Union” today.
All Cruz has to do is keep doing what he is doing. Educate the people on what the Constitution is, what is written, why it was written and what it means to every citizen. Yes, it is a sad state of affairs that Americans need this rudimentary education; however if he can keep on that message, rely on the Constitution then it is easily shown voting for a democrat upcoming is voting against the Constitution, ergo, against the country. Then just call “them” out for what they are, communists and anti-Americans and make no bones about it.
Conservative principles win.
Every time they are applied.
If you love them, first, explain them, then live them.
The hearts and minds of the people will respond with their yearning for just such frank and serious commitment.
Yeah, like 3%.
You see Dana Bash refer to "some people think 0bama had no executive experience and that would apply to you, too"?
Cruz should have said, "Who asked that, Dana? Did you ever question 0bama's experience? Well, did you?"
Already has ...
Every time they are applied.
Yes, they do. The biggest obstacle conservatives face however, is surviving the primaries. I think Senator Cruz could win the general election. It's getting him there that's going to be difficult.
Actually, someone did ask Obama about his executive experience in early 2008. Obama’s response: His executive experience was from running a national presidential election campaign.
IMHO There is a large potential that many Americans will wake up suddenly realizing they are Ted Cruz supporters.
Cruz is following the Reagan path by providing a clear contrast to an agenda by the left, that so many, who don’t define their political leanings, are growing very weary of. (independents) There, I said it.
I say his bigger challenge is for the nomination and that he would smoke the enemy in the general.
Ping!
Ted Cruz defends presidential credentials

That would be epic if Ted called the lsm out like that
