Foreign ministers from 22 Arab countries agreed to form a unified military force on Thursday, approving a draft resolution designed to counter growing security threats in the region.
"The Arab ... ministers agreed on adopting an important principle, which is forming the unified Arab military force. The task of the force will be rapid military intervention to deal with security threats to Arab nations," Arab League Secretary General Nabil Elaraby told reporters after the meeting, Reuters reported.
The agreement, which Elaraby described as historic, came shortly after airstrikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen, led by Saudi Arabia and its Arab allies, in an effort to check what is seen as Irans growing influence in the region. Iran has demanded that all military actions in Yemen be immediately halted, and said it would take necessary measures to control the crisis there. The United States has said it provided logistical and intelligence support to the Saudi-led coalition attacking the Houthi positions. The decision to launch the airstrikes was made without significant involvement from Washington, according to the Daily Beast.

Looks like lines are being drawn in the sand.....literally.
So Øbongo’s plan was to appear so inept (he didn’t have to try very hard!) that the arab leaders in the middle east would man up in his stead?
Cue Biblical prophecies, though in the short term this is good..
Since Obama is negotiating right now to give Iran Nukes while simultaneously fighting the IRAN Backed terrorists in Yemen, who’s side are we on?????
I always think it’s good news to see Muslim nations fighting one another, because they’re not going to be trying to invade Israel during those times. This should give Israel a breather!
I would prefer they risk their military than ours.

A sunni alliance will cause a shiite alliance to counter them. Walid Shoebat wrote on his blog that the Houthi actually want to invade and destroy Mecca. If that is really what is happening here, this can turn into an all out war for all the muslim marbles.
I don’t think it matters which side we’re on, as long as we don’t allow one side to win. If one side does look like it’s winning, we should make sure we adequately supply the other side. Then switch sides when necessary ... :-) ...
I looked up the nations after my first post. Since Iran is not included...
Algeria
Bahrain
Comoros
Djibouti
Egypt
Iraq
Jordan
Kuwait
Lebanon
Libya
Mauritania
Morocco
Oman
Palestine
Qatar
Saudi Arabia
Somalia
Sudan
Syrian National Coalition (some participation, membership pending)[1][2]
Tunisia
United Arab Emirates
Yemen
Now there is a cause I could get behind! Too bad we can't pass the hat to support them.
Risk it doing what?
Don’t even have to switch, just leave all the equipment, up to $500 million, behind.
They go nuts if you assault Mohammad verbally now just imagine if a group wants to destroy Mecca.
Risk it doing what?
Helping muzzie kill muzzies.
Arab Nations Announce Historic Unified Military Force To Counter Iran, ISIS. . . and, eventually, Israel.
We are on both sides.
That’s been the Democrat line for how long?
Things have turned so bad that Obama is actively assisting Iran. This new Arab unified force won’t help us one bit in reversing that, especially if it means nullifying American power not only there but at home.
