Joining the US Army at 19 years of age is an exciting and intimidating move. But with youth and vigor readily available, a promising recruit can climb the ranks of success and dream of a bright future.
DAN SICKMAN, non-attorney veterans advocate, is representing rape victim Diana Moore, from Bensalem, Pa., in her fight for justice and veterans benefits.
Diana Moore, who is now 29 and lives in Bensalem, Pa., never had that opportunity.
While stationed in Ft. Campbell, Ky. as an automated logistical specialist, she was raped by a superior.
Not only did she find no justice in the Army she was arrested herself.
Rubbing salt in her wound, to this day she cannot get treatment from the Dept. of Veterans Affairs. The reason? It denies she ever served in the Army. Her records, it seems, have disappeared.

It is not only older veterans whose records are lost, so all vets should periodically call the VA and make sure the IRS/Hillary protocol hasn't been ordered for their records.
FoxNews just wrote an article about lost service records, not only medical.
Combat veterans face cruel struggle to prove their service to VA, amid missing records

What? No DD214?
The White Mosque authorizes rape worldwide,
along with lack of documentation (as needed).
It was lost./s-kind of
Pinging myself for later reading.
It is disgusting and without the help she should have received in 2006 she has deteriorated and that is reprehensible. How may other vets on the streets who haven’t seen combat but have been raped (male included) are on the streets because of rape? Have the suicide rates gone up in correlation to the removal of Don’t Ask-Don’t Tell?

Somebody’s going to jaaail!
If she was not in the army why were they paying her?
There is a long paper trail for her. Just start looking.
Huh. That's what they do to women who get raped in Islamic countries after some nutjob Jihadist takes control of the government.
I want more details on the other woman - the one that committed suicide a year after her murder and autopsy.
First I’ve heard of a self curing strain of HPV.
Pay records is a good point, thanks.
Did she try to do an on line search?

Not sure but Dan would have known to do that. I’ll ask Diana’s mom on monday.
Horrifying if true. After many other incidents, I’m fairly certain this is now a country where one can be “disappeared”
In the 90’s, I spent a lot of time going through Civil War military and pension records at the National Archives. I can’t tell you how many records couldn’t be found because they were still in the hands of the VA. At one point I had to write my Congressman about it, and he in turn contacted the VA who made special arrangements for me to go to Buffalo to view the list of records I wanted to see. There aren’t any Civil War veterans still alive, and at this point in history, I’m not sure there are any widows left receiving benefits, but if there are, those are the only records that should be in the hands of the VA.
I would contact your congressman. They will inquire and then the word will come down from above in the VA.
Get her Congress critter involved too, it’s part of their job.
Things like this give the military brass a bad name.
There are too many people involved in the matter for it to be so conspiratorial. She was in Basic Training with people, served in areas with people, etc. Even the military isn’t this dumb.
