Man I love this guy.
Ted Cruz completely schooled a journalist who asked him about Climate Change in his Texas Tribune interview, a journalist who was clearly sympathetic to the cause. It was awesome to see.
It was very good. But then again, the Journalist was well behaved. More than Ted Cruz will ever get with the big 3 broadcasters and 2 of the cable news channels.
I hope he can keep the articulation up.
I argue the same points as he did on global warming, but not as eloquently.

He kept using the term “global warming alarmists”. That was excellent!
Yeah, the people on the left seem to think that “doing something” is cost-free, and we might as well do it “just in case it’s true”.
The lives and misery that “doing something” will cost just doesn’t seem to register.
On the other hand, they resist the same argument.
What if they’re wrong about eternity, and Christians are right?
They’re willing to take that risk, it seems.
But the bald weenie will still believe in AGW. It’s like a religion to them, faith trumps facts.

I didn’t watch the whole thing. But Cruz is not only evidently well-read, but also diplomatic.
Ted needs to bring the visual chart with him that we’ve all seen that shows the last 18 years and the computer model divergence.
He speaks with an authority that shadows even Newt in 2012.

The left are rabid with their “You Are a Denier”, “You Are a Knuckle Dragger” . . . I’m so sick of it.
Democrat supporters are “Climate Change Worshipers”.
I liked the way he refers to them as “global warming alarmists.”
They are, indeed, alarmists, so that’s accurate, and forcing the conversation back to “global warming” from their preferred “climate change” or, more recently, “climate disruption” pins them down in two ways. First, everyone knows that they really mean global warming anyway so it keeps them honest, and second, the earth isn’t cooperating with them by actually warming, at least to anywhere near the degree their models claim.
Are you sick of your electric bills going up every year just to thwart the dreaded global warming that isn’t even happening?....would seem like a decent campaign pitch to me.
And if we get a GOP president who will come out foursquare against spending billions of dollars on this scam, and will call it out for the scam it really is, that might finally put an end to it. But if that doesn’t do it, redirecting a few billion dollars of grant money to skeptics should cut the number of alarmists by about 99%. Most will switch sides and the rest will starve without their taxpayer-funded banquets.
I would challenge the “climate change” hysterics to give up all those things they claim contribute to that “problem”.
He’s framing the debate. That’s exactly what you’d expect from a national debating champion.
Well yes, the weenie isn’t convinced....but it’s not important to convince the weenie, it’s important for others to see Cruz destroy the weenie, and the whole myth of MMGW - many people in this country have never heard what Cruz said......
Ugh. The interviewer makes me sick. He should move to California if he likes their politics so damn much.
