Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker may be on the verge of burning himself down before he actually gets started, given what is now becoming something of a circus regarding his actual stance on immigration.
According to this new Wall Street Journal report, its quite possible a supporter of Jeb Bush, or another candidate went to the media regarding Walkers recent comments at a private GOP dinner, it doesnt matter. With three sources now (anonymously) on record, he appears to have Walkered himself right into this one. If his name becomes synonymous with waffling on a critical issue like immigration, his next nickname may be toast!
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker told a private dinner of New Hampshire Republicans this month that he backed the idea of allowing undocumented immigrants to stay in the country and to eventually become eligible for citizenship, a position at odds with his previous public statements on the matter.
Given the history here, it may now be impossible to know precisely where Walker stands, with supporters left to assume the worst that hes just another open borders Republican becoming the default across the conservative grassroots whose support he needs to win.

He’s another lying pro-amnesty scoundrel...
Geez, does ANYONE.... NOT.....support “path to citizenship”???
I really wanted to like this guy, but this is a major issue and my trust level is starting to evaporate. He needs to come out and be specific.
Well, thats that.
That’s it for him
Chamber of commerce has was too much authority in the GOP. They have and will cram amnesty down our throats. Maybe it’s just time for a third party.
"GOODBYE MY CAREER! YAAAARRRG!"
that pathway boat can’t hold all the GOP. Some of these knuckleheads are fixin to get real wet.
20 years from now. It took my wife and her family that long. Why give law breakers a better deal?
I don’t think anyone is saying we should deport illegals here. We need to secure borders, document who is here, and decide how to assess them for citizenship.
Seems to me it should be done on the most local level as possible and not through the feds.
It is funny that none of these guys says this to the face of voters. Its always to a locked room filled with donors.
Having it leaked by a Jeb supporter makes it suspect though.
Looks that way....
Can any of the nitwits just say "we need to deport them and keep them out"
Is there an audio recording of what Walker said?
My suspicious nature makes me doubt the “witnesses” or whoever went to the WSJ with the story.
This is going to be a cutthroat primary.
I am saying it.
These illegals should be charged with a felony. Deported as persona non-grata and forbidden to return
I hope that someone caught Walker on audiotape. This once bright shining conservative is clearly SELLING OUT left and right to the money bags. If a Republican candidate does not have integrity and CORE constitutional conservative values, he/she has nothing. And my one time hero Scott Walker is rapidly losing my support as he “evolves” toward being an establishment candidate and a snake in the grass.
We’re not going to be fooled this time Scott.
Anonymous sources at a private dinner made the charge to he media. The media repeats it.
I don’t know what really happened. I would not rule out sabotage by another candidate. The media has been going after Walker with many false charges. This may be another of many false narratives.
Only path for illegals leads back to Mexico!
I hope it’s not true, but it sure seems that the draw of amnesty seems far too tempting for Republicans to resist. For some reason, they just HAVE to lust for that forbidden fruit.
