LINCOLN, Neb. State Sen. Sen. Ernie Chambers isnt backing down.
The state lawmaker froma Omaha defiantly stood Thursday on the floor of the Nebraska Legislature and rejected many of his colleagues calls for him to apologize or even resign for comparing cops to ISIS terrorists and suggesting hed shoot a cop if he werent nonviolent and had a gun.
I meant what I said and I said what I meant, Chambers said.
He said the irony is that lawmakers were discussing freedom of expression on Wednesday, and said it was ignorant and idle talk to suggest taking any kind of legal action, since lawmakers are immune from civil or criminal liability in connection with anything they say in the Legislature.
Im not going to resign, he said. Im not going to apologize. Why do you think I would apologize?

I had to look. He’s not Amish.
So could some other legislator say they’d shoot Ernie if they weren’t violent and had a gun...and get away with it?
Another one of Holder’s people.
Blacks are being treated as if the ordinary laws, manners and morals do not apply to them. Medieval Lords are being created right before our eyes and nothing is being done.
He’s not Amish, but he is black. There’s a lot of hostility between blacks and the police (who are believed to represent the whites) in that area, but I don’t know exactly why.
Your right he's not Amish, he's Black and acting like a ..............well you know the word.
He’s one of those dark Amish you hear discussed on FR, but with gray hair.
Nothing will happen. He will rise rapidly within the ranks of the democrat party
Protective pigmentation.
So I guess North Omaha is the local “Black District.”My bet is he’s just “buying more votes with his mouth.” The “Black Community” is a complete disgrace!
Neither would Soetero. Neither would Holder. Neither would Jarrett. Neither would Sharpton. For that matter, neither would a.k.a. DeBlasio.
State of Indiana Law.
(i) A person is justified in using reasonable force against a public servant if the person reasonably believes the force is necessary to:
(1) protect the person or a third person from what the person reasonably believes to be the imminent use of unlawful force;
(2) prevent or terminate the public servants unlawful entry of or attack on the persons dwelling, curtilage, or occupied motor vehicle; or
(3) prevent or terminate the public servants unlawful trespass on or criminal interference with property lawfully in the persons possession, lawfully in possession of a member of the persons immediate family, or belonging to a person whose property the person has authority to protect.
Seems that at least in IA. the Police are just like every one esle WHEN breaking the law... on paper at least
Ernie Chambers is still around?
Gosh, what is he, like a hundred and fifty by now?
He’s was the rabble-rousing legislator from North Omaha already when I just a kid, and that was a very long time ago.
You get what you vote for.
Stupid people shouldn’t breed.
This should give everybody pause. Take a deep breath and read what he said. Understand that this man was elected to represent the views of his voters.
He feels, as do many people, that the police are an active enemy of anyone that they don’t like and can take advantage of.
I don’t agree with that, but what is going on in these communities that this is such a prevalent belief?
Imagine living in a country where you fear the police more than a foreign power. I know many people who grew up in eastern Europe under Communism, and the police were not their friends. The police could do whatever they wanted. The police were a constant danger to them.
Something is wrong for people to feel that way in our nation.
He feels emboldened by the Obama, Holder & Sharpton Troika, extorting millions in White Guilt Money, riding dirty and running roughshod across our corporate nation. Their day of comeuppance is approaching.
