The latest revelations over Germanwings flight 4U9525 crash have turned the focus on the pilots, but the German budget carrier has so far refused to identify them.
One of the pilots was locked out of the cockpit moments before the crash, the data from the cockpit voice recorder has reportedly revealed, placing the pilots at the focal point of the investigation.
However, the company has refrained from disclosing the identity of the pilots.
According to the New York Times , data showed the pilot inside the cabin ignored the appeals of his colleague to open the cabin door. As time lapsed the pilot tried to smash the door but failed to get through -- all this happening during the ominous few minutes before the crash that killed 150 people.

Co-pilot intentionally began descent of plane and accelerated.
Yes. But, again why withhold the pilots' name for more than 2 days?
German prosecutors confirm only 1 Germanwings pilot was in cockpit at crash, but don’t know which it was - @Reuters
Marseille prosecutor says it was intentional.
(From BBC presser)
“Those Germans dont like to admit any kind of mechanical or engineering failure.” Failures like the Zeppelin or the Messerschmitt car?
Or, over engineering like the Royal Tiger Tank and other WWII armament?
Please update if they give a reason WHY they say it was intentional.
Co-pilot kept the door locked intentionally.
The co-pilot could only have locked the door to prevent the pilot from entering the cockpit. It wouldn’t have locked by itself.
THERE has to be a reason the names have not been released. This causes suspect.
Crash by fatwa.
This is so idiotic.
The names: Ali Mohammed Sissi and Mohammed Crashna Woffafoo.
The news is out as I am typing this, I hear it on FOX news.
Apparently what they’re getting from the black box is that the flight was being intentionally controlled by the co pilot including keeping the door locked.
If no response from the cabin, the door can be unlocked from outside but was overriden from the cockpit.
Costs for aircraft, fuel, parts, infrastructure are relatively inelastic. You get to be a low cost airline by hiring less qualified, often younger, employees who will take lower pay than their counterparts at higher priced carriers (I.e., Lufthansa). And Mohammedans will take less pay, particularly if their goal is martyrdom and not a career.
