Apparently it is again okay to use the pejorative uppity against Americans who are members of a racial minority group. Ted Cruz is a historic Senator and presidential candidate, the first Cuban-American to join either club, and for that reason (and his unapologetic conservatism) the media is out for blood. The New Yorker went so far as to describe Cruz with the racial pejorative uppity.
The conventional wisdom is that Cruz hasnt got a chance, and, as far as the Presidency goes, its probably accurate. To many Americans, he is the uppity loudmouth who, in the fall of 2013, less than a year into his first term as a senator, helped bring the federal government to a halt.

” The most racist people in the world are liberal whites.”
Folks, we have a ....
W I N N E R !!
Consider the amount of “ink” that has been allocated to Cruz news since Monday morning. It may be in short supply when the next one announces.
It is astonishing, since most of the Leftests/Dems/GOPelites say he doesn’t stand a change. So why have they expended so much “ink” to this guy who ‘cannot’ get elected?
==
“ink” = print, web, broadcast media.
Uppity IS what we have right now!
Uppity, as in ‘uppity nigger’. Is that what this guy meant to say? ‘Uppity spic’?
Those racist LIB asshats!!!!!
Obozo is so far past uppity it boards on treason.
Well looky here! New Yorker shamelessly scrubs racist ‘uppity’ term from Ted Cruz article

“...the statement was aimed at the NY Post ..”
The article was in the New Yorker, not the NY Post. The latter is the city’s most conservative mass market pub.
The uppity people at the New Yorker apparently forgot that most of the government was still up and running during the so-called shutdown.
Well they know that it won’t work if they call him “stupid.” They’re now just throwing invectives at him to see what will stick. It’s an act of desperation.
My bad. Had my attention directed elsewhere atm
The New Yorker obnoxiously demonstrating the double standard in speech.
And it’s not that I wish to curtail its voice, but Hell should fall upon those that criticize the Right for expressing anything similar.
