why pay when malwarebytes and spybot are free??
No
If you are running Windows 7 or later and have eliminated all spyware via malwarebytes, there really isn’t much else you can do to make the internet faster. Most other PC performance issues are related to crapware or too many other unnecessary programs or toolbars that are installed. Do some searches on the internet and save the money.
Try the free version first to see if you like it.
The vega matic was pretty cool. But not know what it is I would hesitate to buy anything that sounds like it would be sold on infomercials after 1pm.
I’ll look it up.
CCleaner - Free
Defraggler - Free
AVG Antivirus - Free
Malwarebites - Free
No clashes, no problems. Have had me covered for years. Free. Added malware bites (excellent program) when my son downloaded a NASTY malware program called Cloud Scout that created pop ups I couldn’t believe. AVG didn’t see it. First and only time he has or will use this puter.
Funny, I bought in today! I ordered 80$ worth of PC Matic!
A few years ago it was stunning what improvement I had with PC Matic, in my desktop. After it downloaded today, I saw not one bit of improvement! 50.00 for one desktop computer, and 30.00 for protection.
I have a brand new computer and know nothing about setting them up. Mine came with MacAfee and that is about it. Politico and Lucianne take FOREVERRRRR to load. FR works like a charm. Surfing the net from my “favorites” bar is soooo hit and miss with forever loading time on certain sites that I couldn’t stand it.
It is like this computer CAME with a virus! I hate it. PC was no help on my loading time or speed from some sites to another.
Bottom line— you can download PC Matic for free for 30 days.
No.
Just no.
the question you mean to ask is “How can I protect my computer from malware/viruses?”
CCleaner from Piriform is freeware, cleans up registry, temp files etc.
that and the free version of Avast antivirus and you are pretty good to go.
you can do most of the things you can also do in windows system tools from the program as well.
as another poster also said, getting rid of all the junk toolbars and stuff is a great place to start too, and CCleaner interface does that too, although I prefer to use windows uninstall myself.
We always laugh at the funny looking racially ambiguous guy with the pink lipsick.
terrible, terrible, terrible.
Tried to remove it from a client’s PC via normal add/remove, which rendered the PC almost unusable after rebooting. Fortunately, system restore worked and brought the PC back to life. My opinion is that PCmatic is worse than the problems it claims to deal with.
I also say why pay when you can get all that stuff for nothing? The free versions aren’t the whizz-bang versions but they offer the same functionality as the paid versions. I use MSE, Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware and no troubles here. Save yer dough!
Bing/Google Pc Matic Scam and see ,I just found ,complaintslist.com ,LOL
A similar product is Advanced System Care by IOBit.
I have used it on a number of computers over the years with great results. The free version is really all you need.
I’m currently running it on machines using W7, W8.1, and XP SP2.

BTW, I am not affiliated with IOBit in any way. I just like their product.
Spybot, the rating on PC Matic are poor at best.
Examine the various processes listed. You need to make an effort to understand each process listed, at least enough to know what program or OS function to which it is related. Even with a ton of programs installed, my system sitting at the desktop with no programs in use only utilizes 2-5% of the CPU. In contrast, a heavily compromised PC may be sitting at 80% or more cpu utilization at rest.
Lastly, and I was slow to come to this conclusion, you need to use a browser that supports add-ons and plugins (I use a mozilla variant, Pale Moon) and install Adblock plus, or Adblock edge (my choice). It's simple self defense against sites that overwhelm you with advertising, slowing page loading to a crawl. Yes, I'm looking at you, Blaze...
Periodically scan with malwarebytes free versions of AV and Root Kit apps and haven't had an issue.
I also use CCleaner to periodically clean things up a bit because a tidy machine is a happy machine...or sumpin like dat.
