The World Health Organisations cancer agency has declared that one of the UKs most widely used weedkillers is probably carcinogenic to humans.
Amateur gardeners and professional farmers have been urged to think very carefully about using the popular herbicide Roundup, which contains glyphosate.
A summary of the International Agency for Research on Cancer's (IARC) report, published in The Lancet Oncology, said that the herbicide had been detected in air during spraying, in water, and in food.It had also been detected in the blood and urine of agricultural workers, indicating absorption.
...The IARC's report said that its use has increased sharply with the development of genetically modified glyphosate-resistant crop varieties.

“Though, honestly, you strike me as sounding very similar to the global warming crowd. “The science is settled, no more questions”. “
I think I made my case that all the internet fake stories you have posted are exactly that ... fake.
Since you haven’t been able to refute my posts, you can only resort to attacking my credibility ... where have I seen that used before?
“* RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)”
He should go organic! He could get more!
Truth is you don't know, I don't know.
Difference is, I concede, I don't really know. I am not invested in believing my intestines are destined to blow up by the time I am 60. I have zero emotional or financial interest in that being true.
Now, you, I don't know. Perhaps you have a vested interest in GMO seeds, or Round Up, or something like that? I have no way of knowing.
Fallacy. GM crops have not produced more yield than non-GM crops.
” I am THE ONLY one here posting biased crap.”
No. There are a couple of others posting your biased crap.
All 400 scientists...WHACKOS. Clearly leftists bought off by Al Jeezera.
“Perhaps you have a vested interest in GMO seeds, or Round Up, or something like that? I have no way of knowing.”
Not one of my posts has included any positive comment about GMO crops. I have only dealt with busting the socialist propagated internet falsehoods.
“All 400 scientists...WHACKOS. Clearly leftists bought off by Al Jeezera. “
Probably the same 400 that say we are doomed by global warming.
You are aware of the who formed the IAASTD, aren’t you?
Enjoy Alzheimer’s.
Bless you and yours. I’m trying the exact same thing. We go to farmers markets to get cheap pastured eggs in flats, and we found a farm that sells grass fed ground cheaper in bulk too. We try to buy the thin skinned fruits and veggies only organic.
My parents always pooh poohed organic and my dad walked around with a sprayer of round up in his hand, spraying weeds in the yard. Money both are suffering from Alzheimer’s. I’m trying to give my 4 kids the cleanest food and environment I can, also on very little these days.
Thank you.
Sprouts has many organic things, but not all their produce is organic.
It’s work, isn’t it? But well worth the effort. My kids have gone from complaining about the lack of junk food to thanking me for making food that makes them feel good; especially when they eat processed food elsewhere.
Like your parents, my in-laws rolled their eyes at organic/healthy eating, but have lately made some minor changes and my father-in-law is doing very well. He was in the early stages of dementia and has reversed it for now. He has a masters degree in agronomy and was a defender of conventional farming, but is starting to change his views on that.
Interesting interview I am listening to with a man by the name of dr. Joe Wallach (never heard of him before). He said pediatric cancers are up 10,000%. He didn’t say the time frame or quote a source. Diabetes up 3000%.
thanks I’ll search
by the way, just read that doctor suicide rates are at 400 a year.
“Interesting interview I am listening to with a man by the name of dr. Joe Wallach “
The basic appeal of Dr. Wallach is the hope he gives to people who fear or are mistrustful of medical doctors and scientific knowledge. He gives hope to those who want to live for a really long time. He gives hope to those who are diagnosed with diseases for which current medical knowledge has no cure. He gives hope to those who want to avoid getting a terminal disease. And he gives hope to those who want to be healthy but who do not want to diet or exercise. All we have to do is drink a magic elixir of colloidal minerals and we’ll be healthy.

He said he was 78 years old and the guy interviewing said he looked decades younger. I did a google search, but who knows how old the pictures are. His voice certainly didn't sound 78.
Still and all, I wonder if his pediatric cancer statistic is accurate.
The South Australian Agriculture Minister says the "amazing" results of a soil improvement program prove grain producers do not need genetic modification technology.Minister Leon Bignell announced results of the Government's 'New Horizons' program trial sites, highlighting that some crops recorded a 300 per cent yield increase.
“I’d like to read his book though”
Please do if you desire to fill your mind with false propaganda.
