The hanging death of an African-American man who had been missing since early this month and was found Thursday by local authorities in Mississippi has drawn the scrutiny of the FBI and the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division.
The sheriff's office in Claiborne County, Mississippi had organized a search for the man, who had been missing since March 2 and reported missing March 8. Authorities found the body hanging from a tree in the woods behind the residence where he had been living.
It is unclear if it is a suicide, or if the man was killed by someone.

The hand wringing hopefulness of CNN is palpable.
or if the man was killed by someone.or... something.
I lot of blacks are killed by other blacks. Are those murders investigated as civil rights violations?
And yet.....
When SOB’s (Sons of Barack) rape and murder yet another 90 plus year old white women....
.... crickets
” I don’t want to work
I want to bang on the drum all day”
Calling someone African-American is racist, isn’t it? Unless they just got off the boat.
It is unclear if it is a suicide, or if the man was killed by someone.
So the FBI is the answer?
What will FBI do when it discovers he hung himself?
Make a federal case out of it?
A lot of hangings are accidental while participating in auto erotica. Since it was behind his house it is more likely self imposed. If he was lynched, I suspect it would be in a more public place. Just my thoughts based on experience. No need for the feebies.
Like a beautiful lady friend of mine who was, in fact, from South Africa, wavy blonde hair, stunning green eyes and a walk that you ache watching her leave...which I could do all day.
The day she became a U.S. citizen we held a party to honor her.
A friend toasted her, and I quote “So, how does it feel to be an African American?”
ROTFLMAO as did everyone else....
The FBI was told the tree was a white oak. They rushed to the scene!
Been there a long time, they might never solve this one.
How do Caribbean immigrants feel being called “African Americans”?
It was the Miss-eye-sippy Bigfoot. pesky critter.
Lots of people hang themselves “out back”.
I don’t mind if they are newly arrived. But folks who have been here for generations don’t deserve to have the hyphenation. Could have come from anywhere.
Supposed to be a presser on this and another one on the drunken yute in Virginia within the hour.
The same would apply to South Africa. Suppose a white racist from South Africa becomes an American citizen,
couldnt he call himself an african-american, if for no other reason than just to bother black people. And what
about a black person born in South Africa who becomes an American citizen, is he an african-american or is he
a South African American? Or is he simply a South African American African-American?
Liberals should be taught that labels divide people, and I think that we can do with fewer labels, not more.
