In a definitive disavowal of his Bar-Ilan two-state speech, prime minister makes last-minute attempt to draw voters from Bennett's Habayit Hayeudi.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhau said Monday that if he were to be reelected, a Palestinian state would not be created, in a definite disavowal of his 2009 speech, in which he had voiced support for the principle of two states for two peoples.
Netanyahu's remarks in an interview with the NRG website - which is owned by casino mogul Sheldon Adelson and tied with the settler newspaper Makor Rishon - were a last-minute attempt to pull right-wing voters away from Habayit Hayehudi.
"I think that anyone who moves to establish a Palestinian state and evacuate territory gives territory away to radical Islamist attacks against Israel," Netanyahu said. The left has buried its head in the sand time and after time and ignores this, but we are realistic and understand."
During the interview, Netanyahu declared that if the Zionist Union were to win the elections, "it would attach itself to the international community and do they bidding," including freezing construction in West Bank and East Jerusalem settlements, and cooperate with international initiatives to return Israel's borders to the 1967 lines.

You know the O has sent a whole army of leftist propagandists over there to use the bandwagon technique. Its the same crap he does over here to get people with mush gor brains to vote for him and his socialist BS. Hopefully the Jewish people can see through his crap.
Bibi tried to tell the people without naming names that Obama had sunk millions into defeating him, that it’s not right to let foreign influences run their elections. But the people there are like here, only tuned into their mainstream propaganda.
I hope Bibi wins. He can tell Obama-Hitlery-Kerry that he “evolved” on the issue.
It’s an interesting shift to the right for Bibi.
While he is viewed as a hard-ass in the USA (and IS compared to Obama’s favored opposition), Bibi is very much a center-right candidate, with his bleed being more from the right, than the left.
The left votes left, no matter what. You can’t court them.
It’s a lesson to be learned, and G-d willing, not too late.
I think this has been known for some time though. I’ve seen glimpses of it over the last months. He has come to realize the futility of trying to play nice with the Arab leadership on the West Bank and in Gaza. And he has also come to realize the extreme negative consequences of a recognized nation in those areas.
Good for him. It makes him that much more of a valuable asset in his current position.
I wish he was our president.
I’m praying my heart out for Bibi to win.
I hope the majority of Israeli voters realize he is THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD!

Well poop on it. I wish “our” government would just stay out of the politics of other nations. We have no business buying votes anywhere.

A Palestinian state should be earned.
The barbarian whiners running Palestine don’t even want a Palestinian state. They want an “issue” to serve as a bludgeon to be used regularly to beat about the head and shoulders, Israel, and to flatter the egos of the European community and the Muslim facilitator in the U.S. White House.
Israel simply needs their Saviour and God has them repeatedly in the test, as are we all.
