Sen. Ted Cruz, Texas Republican, said President Obama’s legacy will be a Republican president who will have to come and and clean up his mistakes.
“Obama’s legacy is going to be the election of a Republican president in 2016 — like Reagan after Carter in 1980 — whose job it will be, among other things, to fix all the mistakes made by this administration,” Mr. Cruz told Israel Hayom.
“I’m convinced we will find the candidate who will get our support for the 2016 elections,” said Mr. Cruz, who could run for president in 2016. “I believe the American people want change, among other things to restore the American dream.”
Mr. Cruz has been an aggressive critic of the administration’s ongoing negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program, and lamented what he called an antagonistic attitude the administration is displaying toward Israel.

But, but, Obama said that if you put the car in reverse , R for Republican, that you go backwards. Obama said he was cleaning up mistakes from previous presidents. Obama said Republicans have to get in the back . etc etc
It’s not about change, it is about correction.
If Rush is right, and Obama intends to hang around D.C. and defend his legacy, that should be a whole lot of fun.
A Republican President is not going to fix anything - not even a Republican President Cruz.
“mistakes”??
I’m pretty sure it was all intentional....and so far, short of his true objectives.
And he'll be pummeled by the lying media.
A GOP President like Ted Cruz would fix what Obama has screwed up.
Jeb Bush would continue the slide to oblivion.
The RNC has tried to rig the primaries to get their amnesty candidate. They do not want us to elect a President who would stop the invasion. They have been very successful at preventing us from doing that for the past 4 Presidential elections.
If Jeb is nominated our only hope is lettting go of our noses and voting for other than R or D, both are determined to replace us with third world people who are more compliant.
This is precisely the sort of statement that - if made by a Democrat about a Republican president - would make me furious.
Therefore, I like it. Probably drives Democrats so far around the bend they go cross-eyed.
I can just see them, getting 100,000 signatures on a petition to have Ted Cruz arrested for treason.
Vote Libertarian.
Why is it politicians are always saying Americans want a change.
We don't want a change we want you people to follow the Constitution. The system was set up for us by the Founders through God and its the Rule of Law for the USA.
It will take a Hercules to clean up the Augean stables of D.C. (while fighting off the attacks from the commies in the media).
Obama’s Legacy , “I Know Nothing,D’oh”
Cruz has my vote. Correct all Obama mistakes, leaving us with his terrible judicial nominations and his crippling debt, but no other long-term damage to freedom. Follow that by repealing all unconstitutional laws and shrinking the FedGov behemoth in real dollars.
Secure the border, start permanently barring illegals from any path to reentry or citizenship, and prosecute those who hire illegals. Abolish BATFE, EPA, Department of Education, and other unnecessary federal agencies/departments.
There is a lot to do, and we need to start doing it rather than merely marking time until the next liberal expands FedGov.
And the next president needs to pull a Foghorn Leghorn on him
“aahhh.... SHADDUP”
If we get a candidate like Cruz (or someone better), that will mix it up and provide a clear choice for voters, then I think it is very possible that person will get elected.
If we get another Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain, Romney... forget it.
None of these men had the fortitude to actually attack the other guy and explain why their actions were so bad.
You can’t offer someone something better, if you’re not willing to quantify what the other person has done wrong.
In 2016 it will have been 32 years since we had a Republican actually stand up and tell it like it is regarding his opponent.
Did we expect any of these men to win? No. And what’s more, I don’t expect Jeb to win either.
The nation has changed. Yes. What has changed more, is the reluctance of the Republican party to actually try to defend this nation.
We need a Cruz (or someone better) to turn this nation around. He won’t hesitate to tell it like it is.
That is a prerequisite. Jeb..., go to hell!
“Fixing his mistakes”
Makes it sound more benign than it really is. Taking the country back and countering their agenda is more than just fixing mistakes.
If he takes his sellout to Iran to the Security Council and gets its stamp of approval, it will be difficult for the next President to undo it.
Cruzing with Ted.
I hope the GOP will actually do it.
