Scott Walker Punches Back Twice As Hard At Obama (Good read)

Principles: If Republicans want to know how to respond to President Obama's barbs and attacks, they should pay close attention to what Gov. Scott Walker said after Obama smacked him for signing a right-to-work bill.

Obama, who believes that he should comment on anything and everything under the sun, issued a written statement condemning the law.

"I'm deeply disappointed," he said, "that a new anti-worker law in Wisconsin will weaken, rather than strengthen, workers in the new economy."

Can’t help that some are blinded by jealousy and hate.

Red flag that bodes ill of Walker early on. If his supporters think I'm lukewarm and skeptical because I'm "blind by jealousy and hate," he must be a bad risk himself if ninnies who fall back on "jealousy and hate!" as a debate tactic are the types he draws. Insulting, condescending, dead-end arrogance.

"Jealousy and hate!" smacks very deeply of the RomneyBot mentality.

“MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin state AFL-CIO and two local labor unions filed the first lawsuit Tuesday against the new right-to-work law, which Gov. Scott Walker signed into law a day earlier.

The lawsuit, which seeks both a temporary and permanent blocking of the law, argues that it is unconstitutional because it requires unions to act on behalf of workers who are no longer required to pay union dues, and therefore receive an unfair benefit.”

An “unfair benefit”...

Exactly, if unions were so great people wouldn’t have to be forced to join.

Yep, I believe that’s been a union argument in most all right-to-work states over the years and hasn’t gotten them anywhere.

"Correct. And, as usual, Obama’s comment was his patented straw man argument. He makes it sound as though it would now be illegal to join a union, while the truth is that people are perfectly free to join any union they want."

I was astonished to read this in an article today:

"On Monday, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker signed a bill into law that prevents unions from requiring their workers to pay dues or fees"

Blatant lies. No shame. It's the party line and they know they'll get away with it.

I cannot at all understand fellow FRiends who don’t think this guy is ready day one for this job. Nobody even comes close to the abilities of Walker.

Go Scott Walker!

Scott Walker doesn’t back down from democrats/socialists nor from the main communist demon Obama

In fact Scott Walker has been the ONLY one that has defeated democrats, the only one that has gotten conservative laws passed over the objections of democrats!

“The lawsuit, which seeks both a temporary and permanent blocking of the law, argues that it is unconstitutional because it requires unions to act on behalf of workers who are no longer required to pay union dues, and therefore receive an unfair benefit.”

Why would the unions have to act on their behalf? If the argument is the worker benefits from the union activity, it could be claimed I benefit from a nearby park donated to the city by a civic organization, but I don’t have to belong and pay dues to that organization in order to enjoy the park.

Walker = Reagan.......I am more convinced as the days go on.

He is the closest thing to Reagan that I see currently. I know a lot of people favor Ted Cruz and I like him too, but my current favorite for the nomination is Walker, with Ted as a close second. Perhaps they could do "Walker/Cruz"?

Rick Perry used to be on my list, but after Hiring Steve Schmidt and Henry Barbour, I no longer think he has the appropriate level of good judgement.

Exactly. Here I always thought employment benefits came from the employer, and should be gained based on the employee’s performance.

You accuse other posters of “Insulting, condescending, dead-end arrogance.” and then you make a sweeping insult about “RomneyBots”.

Which is it? It sounds like you are demanding that people assume that you are acting in good-will and hold genuine conservative values. But then you think it’s just peachy for you to default to nasty name-calling if other conservatives think a different voting strategy is more productive?

Why don’t you think on it for a while and pick one... eiher nasty name-calling and assuming the worst of each other is acceptable, or treating others with respect as you demand the same.

Right-to-work doesn’t prevent workers from joining unions, it prevents the government from forcing workers to join unions in exchange for a job.

That's it...

You do know you’re attributing just one person’s comment to all Walker supporters when you say that, right?

And from that one person you construct a “red flag that bodes ill.” Wow.

And then the type he draws are “ninnies.” Wow again.

You must have an attic full of straw men by now.

I don’t know. If the law “requires unions to act on behalf of” non-union workers, they probably have a case. I doubt the law is drafted that way, but I don’t know that for a fact either.

Anyone?

Cruz has a gift from God, well, actually several, but the gift of being able to speak is one that would be wasted on the court.

smacks very deeply of the RomneyBot mentality.

And YOU are the reason for Romney last time because you are selfish. I begged people to vote for Santorum and got into it with folks like you who didn’t think he was good enough so they voted for their various candidate and because of YOU we had Romney. Now because you were so brilliant last time, you are ready to repeat the same thing because you are SELFISH and won’t support Walker who more than deserves the nomination over EVERYONE of the candidates.
