Knock Off The Loser Talk. This Fight Hasn’t Even Begun
Townhall ^ | Mar 09, 2015 | Kurt Schlichter

Oh my goodness, the 2014 election victories didn’t end the war! You mean the progressives are still out there dreaming of a future full of hugs and goosestepping? You mean the GOP Establishment hasn’t just given up its power and knelt before us, begging to be forgiven for its craven crony corporatism? You mean the fight’s not over? ... Kurt Schlichter was personally recruited to write conservative commentary by Andrew Breitbart. He is a successful Los Angeles trial lawyer, a veteran with a masters in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College, and a former stand-up comic.

“The GOPe and the Rats ARE the same thing. Boehner and McConnell are proof of that.”

I believe there are three political parties. The Conservatives, The Establishment and The Communists. It’s the Establishment which Caucasus with the Communists.

But you are correct. The Rats and GOPe are the same thing.

“I think the country is broken, and I don’t mean just the governance of it. It is the very people themselves who are sick and disoriented.”

I think you’re correct.
I’m not sure what you would call it. Maybe just the march of time and the arc of any society.

I don’t know that traditional conservative values can rebound because I don’t think that as a society they’re valued by enough people anymore.

It’s like you said I think the people are just different now.
I’m not sure if the wheel can be made to turn the other way.

You are right. The GOPe has an infrastructure that is powerful, that is effective at defeating conservatives. The GOPe is a lost cause.

Until conservatives build up a grass-roots infrastructure that better than the GOPe, any attempt to form a national Third Party will just be co-opted by the same people who control the GOPe.

But we must acknowledge that we will never get our country back via the ballet box.

A reality that mind-numb GOP voters will never comprehend.

You are likely right, but the problem is there are no good options. Those that get sent to Washington tend to get Washington washed in no time at all.

Gee, his toddy Eric Cantor lost to an underfunded no one in hisprimary.

Boehner lost 29% of the primary vote to two unknown underfunded nobodies with little to no name recognition

So when the House Majority Leader can muster less than 75% of his own parties votes, he is most certainly vulnerable. A motivated well funded candidate could certainly create a World of trouble for him.

The fact that he had TWO challengers in the Primaries caused him to spend millions of dollars on his reelection.

He spent more than $9.5 million against them and the Democrat whom between the three of them they spent less than $25,000 combined.

If a conservative can not win a Republican Primary,he will not win a general election. Certainly he will not win one as a candidate for a third party. Just ask Jim Condit Jr. the Constitution Party candidate that came in a distant third place against Boehner in the General Election in the OH 8th district.

The only way to get rid of them is to primary them. Take over the party on a local level and his base dries up.

The conservative doesn’t have to win.
It’s called “strategy”, and until we use it we’ll never change the Party.

One of three things will happen when a conservative runs against a RINO in the general election:
A. The RINO sees his problem, mends his ways and gets re-elected. This is the most likely.
B, The RINO doesn’t and loses. Putting a Dem who acts the same as the RINO in. Second most likely.
C, (Very much the least likely) The conservative wins.

The Dem winning DOESN’T MATTER IF WE STILL HAVE THE MAJORITY IN THE HOUSE! It gives us a stronger conservative majority in the House.
The strategy doesn’t work in Senate or presidential elections, the dynamics are not the same.

A RINO can’t be beat in a primary because he’s usually from a “purple” district. Cantor was from a strongly conservative district.

Precisely.

GOP has appeased itself into cowardly irrelevance.

With very few elected exceptions .. Gutless Obsequious Poltroons

He’s spot on. We need to work the politics and the voting in Congress to force RINOs and Dems in vulnerable seats to vote with us instead of against us. It can be done using conservative populism. We need to use it and fast.

John Boehner isn't from a purple district. It is highly Gerrymandered in benefit of the Republicans.

The only strategy of running against a RINO in the general is losing both the RINO and The Commie Democrat.

Most districts already have a third party candidate. Often a Libertarian, Constitution or Green Party candidate. Sometimes two or even all three. The addition of another Conservative Party in the election would only further add to the futility.

BTW: What third party have you started? Where can I get a copy of their platform? Where is their National Convention for this election cycle being held? What are their biggest PAC’s?

Get the point?!

Nonsense. We’ve got more Reagan conservatives in the GOP than ever. It’s the GHW Bush’s and RINOs that are on the run.
