The New York Times has been accused of bias by conservative US media after cropping George W Bush and his wife Laura out of its front-page image of the Selma anniversary march.
The former Republican president took part in Saturday's march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama to mark 50 years since one of the bloodiest episodes in America's civil rights movement.
But the photograph on the front page of Sunday's New York Times, which showed Barack and Michelle Obama leading the anniversary march, appeared to cut the Bushes from the right-hand side of the image.

The best reporting on US politics is done by the UK media. And what a sad statement of affairs that is.
That’s just so blatant- even for THIS leftard media... I mean people KNOW he was there
A side by side photo comparison will embarrass the crap out of them!
They ususally are not this blatant in their liberal idiocy
Amazing. Any real photojournalist would have been salivating over the opportunity to get two consecutive Presidents from opposing parties together in one shot on such a historic day.
I’m willing to bet that the original shot even by this very photographer included the Bushes. It was probably wide enought to get everyone in the front row.
The editors could easily have cropped a few people from the left if they really needed to crop it.
So were the two daughters of the Presidentand his mother-in-law.
Times is stirring the pot........
In America, it was covered on the web.
Which is why the Obamunists want to regulate the internet.
Predictable. NY Times Crops Out George W. Bush from Selma March Photo

you are so right... in the old days the real photo would not have seen the light of day
ALL 3 networks would have gone with the doctored image
I doubt a question like this even occurred to him. He just was where he was.
And look where we have to get this information from - THE UK
Oops, missed that in my search.
Disregard my post about daughters and MIL being cropped out
as they were included.
My bad.
Still, many FR sheeple don’t get it.
Both D’s and R’s work for the same people.
So they are working on the same agenda.
Politicians identify as “liberals” and “conservatives” and simply hide the fact that they all work for the same people from their respective voting bases.
Obama, moose, sharpton, etc., want to appear to their goofy supporters that they are “die-hard leftist”.
Da Bushes want to appear to their goofy supporters that they are “die-hard conservatives”.
Even when confronted with the OBVIOUS TRUTH, the sheeple want to remain in their fantasyland...
where Bushes and Obamas are “opposing” each other,
even when it’s sickeningly, painfully, brutally obvious that they are just play acting for their goofy supporters, and they both are dutiful servants of the same masters and both working on the same agendas, by playing their respective parts in “the show”.
The “other” photo in the Telegraph article is from the bridge, where the composition would’ve been cluttered/compromised by the dividing barrier in the middle of the bridge.
The megan kelly link I included, shows them on the same street as the Times front page photo. Note, that megan kelly source article at my FR link has a popup that expects users to ‘like’ her article. I closed the browser tab since I couldn’t find out how to close the window without liking it. But the photo was there.
Point taken.
We are being deliberately misled by those people who control the news/entertainment streams.
Lies by omission are still lies. #YellowJournalism #PravdaMedia
The Cropped picture will be in Obama’s Presidential Museum
actually it just looks like they added the Kenyan family who are squatting in my White House to the I am Charlie in Paris pic...
I saw this yesterday W wn’t make a stink about this but from what i gater Obama did not want him anywhere near him
It’s a sad state of affairs when the American people can’t rely on its own country’s media to get unfiltered news, but instead have to rely on foreign sources to get the straight scoop.
