Question! I don’t understand clearly how a health care bill evokes such increases in care costs. I can see/understand if such forces people to pay for others insurance as well as their own. However, I suspect it has something to do with care providers manipulating the market. Care providers are not candidates for Santa Clause.

Obamacare also requires everyone to purchase insurance that covers a specific set of diseases, treatments, etc., whether that person will ever need them or not.

For example, a male is required to purchase insurance that will cover his treatment costs for pregnancy, uterine cancer, various diseases of the ovaries and female birth control pills. Despite the fact that he will (at the current state of technology) never be able to use these, he must be covered for them. He is further required to purchase coverage for things he might not want - if he is 25, he is being forced to purchase ‘elder care’ coverage, which he doesn’t need and won’t be using for a long, long time. This costs extra money and policy prices go up (way up) as a result.
