It sounds like a great bill, which means Boehner and McConnell will probably bend over backwards to kill it.
Reagan, the great liberator.
Undocumented Appeaser, slave trader. Trafficker of body mortgages.
So the Congress that won’t stand up to Obama is telling me they’re going to stand up to Obama?
I just don’t see it happening.
Well, the GOPe better do SOMETHING because if SCOTUS overturns 0bamacare, we’ll get the blame, especially in states (like Wisconsin) where we refused the bait and switch subsidies program!
And now we’ll watch as the collectivists try to shoot this down while still maintaining the facade that they actually want better healthcare for us lowly peons and not more power for themselves.
Ping for later reading.
31 pages of lawyer-speek, nothing more
Sorry, I’m still not seeing the RESTORATION of Freedom and Liberty. This is GOPe Fascism.
Why do biz/employers still have all the ‘perks’?
Why are Joe/Jane six-pack still not ‘allowed’ to deduct h-care costs from their taxes?
Why cannot Joe/Jane six-pack mix-match their requirements the same way they might do for car insurance.
Where did the health-savings-accounts go? (Oh, that’s right, since it was OUR $$ we could take/use...).
Where is the smack-down on SCOTUS re: taxing an INACTION?? Congress HAS the authority....
I still have not seen any Amendment passed that gives Congress ANY authority to assist in the ‘healthcare’ of We the People; let alone stealing from one to give to another (Commerce clause is used left and right, what about the Takings clause?????).
This is a good step, but IMO the government still has a leash on Health Care, the industry in general simply by the existence of a law governing healthcare, the industry.
The law I’d like to see is a law for government that says government has no business in business. Call it a leash law.
Leash the government as did our founders, not us.
Go Cruz, our next President.
I heard this morning that if the courts strikes down the subsidies that the “Republican plan B will subsidize those affected” You can’t make that up. I don’t want to pay others insurance premiums. That is out and out Communism. The republicrats make me sick.
...” allow residents in one state the option to purchase a health insurance plan ‘of their choice’ in any other state”....
No matter how this is done you still got the people who we have to pick up the tab for.
I just read about a guy who was a meth dealer... explosion in his homemade lab costs us a million to treat his burns not to mention disability from his condition for a lifetime......the hospital he’s in looses 3 billion a year on incidents as this.
Not to mention all the risky behavior...aids etc...which people will still go to emergency rooms without insurance and cannot be refused....

I have zero sympathy for those that voted for Obama.
“The Administration has done absolutely nothing to prepare for an upcoming Supreme Court decision that could leave millions of Americans unable to afford insurance thanks to this failed law.”
Could be he knows the fix is in.
