Fox News Sundays Chris Wallace submitted newly-minted 2016 GOP frontrunner Scott Walker to thirteen minutes of sustained questioning about his record and his (mis)statements Sunday morning, the most notable moment of which came when Walker conceded after several minutes of interrogation that hed changed his views on immigration.

A consulate office might, I suggest, help deal with some of the issues involving illegal immigration into WI, over which Walker at the time had zero control.
IOW, is it possible that wanting a consulate office was an attempt to do his job of making his state run more smoothly rather than an attempt to expedite legal and illegal immigration into it?
Yep. Good leaders reach out for advice and clarify previous statements that are not popular.
We should be rightly suspicious of any politician who claims to have seen the light about the invasion. We’ve had 29 years of non-enforcement of the laws that were supposed to prevent the 30 million illegal aliens we currently have.
The last amnesty bill was supposed to be a one time, never to be repeated amnesty for less than a million that turned out to be 3 million. Included in that amnesty were laws that wereto prvent more illegal aliens.
They have never been enforced, not by Democrats or Republicans.
Both parties want to flood the country with Fraudulently Documented Foreigners for different reasons.
The GOP is doing it for the cheap labor donors, the Democrats rightly see the illegal aliens as their ticket to one party rule.
We have to think outside the box the parties are putting us in if we want to save the Republic.
I don’t know if Scott Walker is genuine in his change of heart about the rule of law.
We can’t afford to be wrong if he isn’t.
Have you ever changed your mind about anything?
He did a 180° apparently on amnesty from his position of supporting Kennedy-McCain a few years ago.
He also gave into the pressure regarding Giuliani’s remark about Obama’s love of America and said he thought Obama does love America.

Like it or not, Wallace managed to get a couple of ‘gotcha’ soundbites.
We will probably hear those repeated on many news venues for a while.
This isn't a come-to-Jesus moment for Walker though, that's the problem with you people criticizing Walker over supposedly supporting amnesty.
All he did was make a few statements in the past about comprehensive immigration reform - statements that spoke more about Washington not coming up with a real solution rather than promoting amnesty itself.
Was any pro-illegal legislation promoted by him? Was anything signed? Did he meet with La Raza?
Illegal immigration is a federal problem, not a state problem. As a Governor, all Walker can do is following existing federal law
LOL...
Rubio claims he’s changed as well, do you believe him?
It sure is. What is his position going to be if he wins. Is it going to evolve again as he "gets more facts", when he no longer needs conservatives to vote for him.
Reminds me of the congressional candidates who run as "tea party" candidates and then change their tune when they get to Washington.
Walker is 100% GOPe and is as worthless as Bonor and McTurd-le.
It sounds as though you better support freeloading illegal aliens invading and taking over America or you won’t be able to win any “elections” anymore. Time to evolve on the destruction of America they way people “evolved” on fudge packers getting “married”.
Absolutely not.
Rubio, AS A SENATOR, worked with the likes of Chuck Schumer to pass amnesty and then tried to tell us it wasn't amnesty.
He also criticized the defunding of Obama's executive amnesty.
Walker is not in the Senate. He is a GOVERNOR. He's not part of the legislation process.
He just wanted that for trade and business purposes Amigo...
Gimme a break.
You KNOW what Governor Walker SAYS won’t matter to the Haters. However, the LefTards can be as ‘nuanced’ as they want and flip-flop all over like a Flounder on deck and NO ONE CALLS THEM ON IT.
Love My Gov! :)
Washington’s solution is always amnesty and he supported it.
Comprehensive Immigration Reform is really Comprehensively Screwing Americans Out Of Their Country.
It is abandoning the bedrock of the Republic, the rule of law.
It is always bad policy to change the laws to benefit those breaking them.
He supported that approach, now he claims he doesn’t.
He may have had a change of heart, I hope that’s true.
He may think he has to say this to get elected.
Bush said no amnesty in both his campaigns and then tried to jam amnesty down our throats TWICE.
See my Post 37. Don’t waste your breath with these guys. We’re on the WINNING side of History. We can let that be enough for now and we’ll drag the troglodytes along with us when the time comes. :)
Yep. Walker has what it takes. I like Cruz too but unfortunately he is too openly conservative right wing to get the votes needed to win the main event.
I think Walker has been hearing from a lot of us, including myself, about how serious the immigration issue is to us and has changed his views a bit on how to deal with the problem. I think he gets it now.
I like that he has no hesitation in answering questions with a lot of dead time, um’s and uh’s, like the current POTUS who actually had zero quals to be President. Oblamer obviously has to think about what he says because if he said how he really feels; the entire country, minus a handful of similar-minded radicals, would turn on him in an instant.
For now; Walker has my vote. Not that it matters a whole lot in AZ but still...
