McManus takes the truth and turns it on its head.
Big Government, high taxes and the pipeline of burdensome government regulations are exactly what is killing the economy and destroying jobs.
Another example that leftists are REALLY stupid and simply cannot grasp basic ECON101.
Oh, my. Look, the LATimes is concerned about us.
I can’t say who “killed” regarding possible presidential candidates. But the speech that for me had the most impact and depressed me to no end was Brent Bozell’s. It was a litany of how Christians and conservatives have been, and are being, persecuted by the left. After about 25 specific instances I just wanted him to stop; it was an assault on a person’s senses.
I highly doubt he even attended CPAC and I suspect he watched on CSPAN! The MSM is upset at the fact that they could not paint this CPAC as a gathering of Angry Old White Men as the youth and energy was on display.
The MSM thought Jeb Bush was going to walk in, be crowded King of CPAC and walk out.....#epicfail!
why would the left be unhappy anyway with CPAC? Their guy bussed in more voters from colleges than anyone else and he has no problem with the lib agenda, pro amnesty, pro homosexual , pro drugs, weaker military.
Libs should be happy their guy got his voters in and had won.
What ever happened to GOP types getting in trouble for using terms like crosshairs, knocked em out, targeted, etc etc but the same paper that criticized is now using kill?
LA Slimes articles about CPAC should not be read and don’t count
Doyle,
I m sure the Republicans appreciate your advice on how to best win an election. You asked; “What was missing from CPAC?” Then proceeded to get a little snarky with your next two or three sentences. As you so inelegantly put it, most of the speakers were in favor of, “ smaller government, lower taxes, less regulation”. Well THAT, is exactly what will address a stagnant economy and raise the incomes of everyone and not just the rapidly disappearing middle class.
Thanks again for you advice. Even as silly as it was.
Ah, these are the NEW ideas, they're only a couple of hundred years old. The old ideas are to turn power over to an authority (monarch, elite, demogogue, revolutionary) and they promise to make a better life for us. That's the hope and change of Obama, that the building blocks of liberalism, that's the fount of the OLD ideas.
Doyle, why not try the ideas that have been proven to lift the poor, create opportunities and provide justice to everyone who joins in?
Bigger government, more spending, more debt, more regulation aren’t the “new ideas”. In fact their getting pretty old and stale.
- We elected Republicans and gave them both the House and the Senate; and yet still Obama is allowed to get away with lawlessness.
These are not tough minded leaders. If they were, they would be holding trials right now, and pushing again and again to punish Obama for his treason.
Worse, they capitulate with evil.
If the GOP wants to know why there is no enthusiasm, there it is.
A media liberal measures Republican success by how liberal they are. Naturally, he loves Jeb Bush. Shocker.
