On Friday, Fox News Geraldo Rivera said he lament(s) that the number of guns that are in America, including the guns that guns that people possess legally.
Rivera said these things during an appearance on Fox & Friends, after being asked to comment on a mom who had pulled a gun to stop a fight where one girl pinned another girl on the ground and was punching her in the head repeatedly.
The mother has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
After watching the cell phone footage of the incident, Rivera responded: First, Ill talk about the guns. I think that there are far too many creepy, untrained people with deadly weapons in their possession legally, and I lament that. [But] thats a gun control argument that I can never win.(continued)

Exhibit A that Fox News is not conservative.
**********************************
Fox News has never claimed to be conservative; they just seem so when compared to all others in the MSM.
Geraldo and Juan are only the top layer of liberals who appear on FNC. There’s Powers, Colmes, Hanna, Davis and the many idiots that Hannity has on his show that add to the liberal list.
I give credit to FNC for giving the left wing nuts a chance to air their tripe, but I have to hit the remote on some of those people and usually mute about 1/2 of Hannity because of the crap his guests are yelling (notice that the liberals yell and talk over other guests?).
Geraldo claims to be Republican, but he is nothing but a racist who favors anything Hispanic and most liberal positions. ....Geraldo is dispicable and should be fired.
Good 'ol Jerry Rivers expounding on that which he knows nothing about as always.
Well, to be fair, those are the only types of things he CAN expound on....
Shows with titles like "Men in Lace Panties and the Women Who Love Them."
Chair throwing and busted noses.
Al Capone's vault
Haha!!
Cry me a rivera, Jerry...
It actually turns out that the story that his real name is “Jerry Rivers” is just an urban legend. But I’m gonna keep calling him that anyway.
Interesting, looked him up on Wiki, never knew his mother was Jewish.
I forget the deats by as I recall DJ told me a friend of his mother’s dated him or something. That makes for a Bacon # of 3, I believe.
Jerry also escalated the condition at Ruby Ridge when he claimed his Chopper was fired upon by the Weavers. It was never proved.
“STFU, Rivers.”
LOL....I wonder how many armed bodyguards this guy has on the payroll? (corporate & personal)
Well done.
He’s got an excess of estrogen. He’ll always be “jerry” as far as I’m concerned.
Whatcha wanna do, Jerry? Break in and take them?
Hmmmm?
I think you'll find that to end badly.
He was banging the shopgirls working under my mother at Bonwit-Teller 45 years ago.
More than 1? Jerry, you dog.
Not quite. Its true that his birth name was "Gerald" and he was raised Jewish. (He was probably called "Jerry" for short in H.S. and college) He then added an "o" to the end of his name and started pronouncing it the Spanish way ('heraldo') to give himself more street cred with Hispanic audiences when he started working for Hoy magazine.
The only "urban legend" is Geraldo is a Republican. He laughably identifies as one in public, when in reality he's to the left of Michael Bloomberg.
Right, he’s just Gerald, but not Rivers, Rivera is his real surname.
I didn’t know he actually claimed to be Republican. I guess someone has to be THE biggest RINO.
The only claim to “Republican” Jerry has is that he threatened to run as one for the Senate in NJ. Other than that...
Other than that

This from just after the election, at the very end he says “I’m a Republican because I believe people have to pull themselves up by their boot-straps like my dad did”
Did you know Fox News Liberal Juan Williams has a son that works for the RNC?

I dunno, it seems like Jerry leans more to the left (then again, so is the GOP Establishment).
Yes, I knew about Juan Williams’ son, Raffi, working for the RNC.
