OLIVE BRANCH, MS (WMC) - As winter weather was being dumped across most of North Mississippi, one woman says she saw much more than just snow Angela Ashton is convinced she saw a UFO.
Ashton, who is a certified Paranormal Investigator with Cryptic Shadows Paranormal Research, is certain that the object she saw in the sky was extraterrestrial. When she saw the object just after midnight on Thursday, she ran outside to record it.
"It was at least the size of a football field," Ashton said. "I was laying in my bed and I have a huge window that goes across the wall of my bedroom. And I saw a bright blinding light. I mean it was huge."
Ashton says she recorded a few seconds of the quiet, unidentified object as it hovered over a nearby field on Craft Road in Lewisburg, Mississippi. She then quickly ran inside because it was cold. Eventually, she said, the object shot up into the sky and disappeared.

When all you have is a hammer......Everything looks
like a UFO?
No wonder they always land in out of the way places.
Tired of the bodywork repair bills.

Bad Ice last week, without power and water for four
days. Snowed the other night, had about 3 or 4 inches
but it’s all melted now.

It does have all the correct elements of a UFO/Bigfoot video; it's grainy, it's out of focus and herky jerky enough to cause motion sickness. Night time video from a consumer grade video camera is going to appear jerky, grainy and out of focus because they are incapable of auto-focusing in low-light, going to open the lens to maximum light, and the ability of the operator to keep it on a distant object is problematic without a steady-cam.

Read by kerocene lantern, went to bed early.
Fortunately the propane delivery came the day before
so I had heat and could cook, had to eat everything
in the fridge though, happily I had my camping water
jugs filled. No well pump, no water.
Wasn’t too bad, got to look into a hand pump for the
well. I’ve got a big generator/welder but it’s not
plumbed into the house circuit. I generally buy groceries
a month ahead so that wasn’t a problem.
