As Rush said today, Stalinists and Fascists ...
Are you sure? LOL Toss me off a 100 story building, I’m not convinced I’d make it to the landing. Ha...
You are generally right though. Quick stops don’t do you any favors.
First and Second Constitutional Amendments both destroyed in the same day by executive direction from Emperor Obama the First.
Thanks for the clarification.
We are so screwed.
Trust us - US FCC
And in unrelated news Jay Carney was hired to be an executive at Amazon. Now we know how the payoffs will be. Payoff the feds and get your bandwidth. Who are the idiots that really believe 3 people will be able to control the entire internet? IDIOT liberals that’s who. The pipeline owners aren’t going to bring us all up to the same speed as Netflix. They will bring us all down to the dial up speeds to what Obama has defined as fair. Now that the FCC rules the internet goodbye non PC politically connected websites. It will all be regulated now. Next week amnesty will be passed and millions of illegals will vote in ‘16
I never thought I would see such things in my life. But sure enough, generations of preparing a puppet like Obama and in 2 short terms with marxist statists in charge this country has been badly damaged and will not be repaired in my lifetime.
I do not live in the US but the "fundamental transformation" taking place there is both breathtaking and frightening. I hope everything works out ok for you guys but I am starting to wonder.
Ridiculous. TPTB do not need a King when all the whores are bought and paid for.
Just me, but I’ll be disappointed if that Jew-killing kapo Soros gets to die a natural death instead of getting the justice he should have received after WW2.
Whatever is in the regulation is irrelevant because as we’ve seen with immigration law the leftists will ignore the written word if it gets in the way of their agenda.
And the Republicans can be counted upon to do exactly not. one. damn. thing. about it.
From the stats, it appears rich leftys with gold plated healthcare seem to have very long life expectancy (Soros, Jimmy Carter, Castro Bros, etc)
How you clowns can be in favor of this is beyond me ...
“Just as a newspaper is entitled to decide which content to publish and where, broadband providers may feature some content over others,” - Part of Verizon’s argument in the 2012 case.
The ISPs want to examine EVERYTHING you access on the internet, and then THEY want to determine, in the ISPs best interests, if they are going to allow you to access the data or now.
And you all are in favor of allowing that?
Net Neutrality = ISPs can not screw you over - PERIOD.
Good news is, eventually the courts will strike down most of this government intervention.
The bad news is, prices for internet and cable services will continue to rise.
Curiously, Mark Steyn called this a couple years ago. Don’t recall his exact words at the moment but they were to the affect that the internet would be a place to play games and not much else. For my own part I pretty much agree but for different reasons. I’d still rather shop with an old Sears catalog and I’d still rather shoot Kodak than digital. Most of the stuff on the web will be lost forever, and probably 20 years at a time.
Which countries contain the most peaceful, the most moral, and the happiest people?
Those people are found in the countries where the law least interferes with private affairs;in short, the happiest, most moral, most peaceful people are those who most nearly follow this principle: although mankind is not perfect, still all hope rests upon the free and voluntary actions of persons within the limits of right; law or force is to be used for nothing except the administration of universal justice.
where the government is least felt;
where the individual has the greatest scope,
and free opinion the greatest influence;
where the administrative powers are fewest and simplest;
where taxes are lightest and most nearly equal;
where individuals and groups most actively assume their responsibilities
and, consequently where the morals of human beings are constantly improving;
where trade, assemblies, and associations are the least restricted;
where mankind most nearly follows its own natural inclinations;Frederic Bastiat - The Law
Defunding homeland security is on the table right now. So, defund it. Shut it down and then shut down the rest of the government. Easy. There is no political leadership so it will not be done.
There is nothing new under the sun.

Officials view the printing press as a device to be used in support for the monarch and other authorities. At the least, the press was to print material that was politically neutral and did not question the establishment. It was the kings prerogative as to who would own and operate a printing press. Systems of censorship and press licensing were set up in an attempt to control the increasing flood of new books, broadsides and pamphlets since Gutenbergs printing press in the mid-1500s.
Yeah, we should get thousands, no tens of thousands, together to protest this and every other “law” that is being created by the pen and the phone like we did for Obamacare, since that worked out so well.
