A new study released Tuesday indicates that Latinos will play an ever increasing role in the future of job growth in the United States.
Latinos will account for more than 40 percent of growth in the next five years and more than 75 percent between 2020 and 2034 – an increase of 11 million jobs out of an economy-wide gain of 14 million, according to an analysis done by the economic forecasting firm IHS Global Insight.
A number of reasons will account for the rise of Latinos in the workplace, but some major factors will be a Hispanic population growth average of 2.6 percent per year over the next 20 years paired with a growth of the non-Hispanic working age population slowing down to near zero, and new non-Hispanic entrants to the labor force barely offsetting retiring baby boomers....

I find that hard to believe. You hear it all the time but I’m starting to think it’s just a cliche. I gather that there are some jobs that require hard labor where the Mexican has more staying power but are those the only jobs we have available in this country anymore? Where I work there’s a large area with manual laborers and most of the employees are white and then black, and it looks like they are working hard. My dad owned a landscaping business and I’ve heard him say so and so is a hard worker etc. and he’d be referring to a white guy. I really don’t think it’s fair that one race of people is held in higher esteem than another in this country.

Working hard or not isn’t the issue. Most of the money illegals make goes out of the USA immediately, thereby harming our economy even more.
If people want to be here they need to want to be Americans 100%. And I’m not referring only to Mexicans.

Get used to it. Once this pseudo-Amnesty thing of Obama gets settled in, the true picture of illegals’ impact on us will be carefully hidden among more generic terms (e.g., Latino).
What’s really going to happen is 5-10 Million brand new quasi-citizens will be dumped on us. Probably at least half of those will get that instant $24,000 EITC check, get signed up for SNAP, SSA, Section 8 waiting list, Medicaid, TANF, WICs, etc. (if they aren’t on it already). And, Obama will force the government to do away with keeping ‘illegals’ statistics on anything.

Look at this way, if the stock streaming across our borders were white conservatives, the Dems would have militarized the border by now. IT IS ALL POLITICS.

We don’t have any increase in employment, haven’t for years.
The only thing which has changed, is we continue to push people out of the job market.

For me, it was close to heaven on earth.
