NEW HAVEN THE recent reunion show for the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Live re-aired a portion of Eddie Murphys 1984 classic White Like Me skit, in which he disguised himself to appear Caucasian and quickly learned that when white people are alone, they give things to each other for free.

Guess what, white people built the civilized world and all its wealth. Everyone else is just a spectator, so be good sports.
I like how the study which is the main source of factual information comes from Australia instead of America.
American journalism is dead. Not just dead, its rotting corpse is stinking up the country.
Blacks need to man up, stop expecting special treatment -- because they do expect that -- and they need to stop blaming whitey for their own problems.
I am so tired of all this BS.
So tired.
Boy, I’ve been white my whole life and never knew I didn’t have to pay for stuff...
Funny skit. Sort of like the one on how rich Republicans vote.
I keep looking for my “White Privilege” card in the mail; but it hasn’t shown up yet.
Hope I didn’t accidentally trash it after mistaking it for junk mail.
Who’s it coming from, again? EEOC? HUD? IRS? DOJ? ASPCA? SPLC? I can’t remember.
Hopefully it will show up soon. I could use a litle advantage, ya know? Cost of living keeps going up, and the COLA raises have been pretty much non-existent.
There was once a TV show where blacks and whites would be made up as the opposite race and then mix.
One black guy was got angry because he and his wife went to a nice Mexican restaurant as whites, and while not very crowded yet, the restaurant bar was all white, and he got very annoyed because a white woman who was sitting alone at a table, had left her purse when she went to the bathroom.
He was angry because he said she would not have done that if she had known blacks were there also.
“White Privilege” must be one of the more ridiculous lies ever promoted.
“White Privilege” is getting a job when you’re a teenager, learn how to work, learn how to apply for jobs, and learn how to get along with people in the business world. That’s something that many whites never learn.
If I still live in a world with an NYT, and they still have op-eds, I'm not privileged.
You’re all Racists if you stop Obama from running for a Third Term ,coming soon
Gee working in a car wash at 17 I never felt real privileged.
White Privilege is so bad that millions of non-whites want to come here. “White Privilege” is code for Anti-white. So is “Diversity”, “Anti-racist”, and a bunch of other Marxist bullspit.
To me the skit was really about how nice and trusting white people used to be to each other in America.
The skit pretended to be about free stuff, because they couldn’t just show a Leave it to Beaver past where we didn’t lock our doors, left our keys in our cars in the drive at night, and friends and neighbors frequently just walked into each other’s homes without knocking.

You have to earn your card.
Stay in school
Do not do drugs
Don’t break the law
Marry before having children
Show up for work every day
Continue to work hard at what you do
This formula works equally well for all races, so even blacks can earn this “white privilege card”
Well where do you think the ‘thank you’ term “That’s mighty white of you!” came from!
That was even used in the Li’ll Abner comic strip decades ago!

Wish I could find that clip of Joe Piscopo when he was presenting at some award show.
Eddie Murphy steps on stage, as a surprise and Piscopo smiles saying “Hello my Negro Friend”.
OMG, I lost it. Hysterical and all my friends we’re laughing as well.
It was funny because we were in our twenties and discussing a variety of topics, racism being one of them.
We didn’t grow up during a time of pervasive racism and the joke was ripe for its time, demonstrating we’d moved beyond that sick behavior.
