The Brian Williams suspension has caused a shake-up at MSNBC. The Daily Beast is reporting that Rev. Al Sharpton may lose his nightly time slot. “Politics Nation with Al Sharpton,” has aired since 2011 and has had a successful run.
At issue is a steady slide in viewership....Chris Hayes is to be replaced by the “Rachel Maddow Show.” Maddow moves from 9 p.m. to 8 p.m., while a search is underway for a new host for the vacant time slot.
Sharpton’s show is rumored to be moving from nightly 6 p.m. to weekend-only. Sharpton attracts a solid 35 percent Black audience and is considered a lightning rod of controversy because of his activism on behalf of the oppressed. There has been no word from the Sharpton camp on the rumored changes.
The source at MSNBC stated the programming decisions were part of a change in MSNBC'S political mindset: “Going left was a brilliant strategy while it lasted, and made hundreds of millions of dollars for Comcast, but now it doesn’t work anymore…...The goal is to move away from left-wing TV.”
No matter what they do moving morons around will not make people watch a communist bunch of morons..Although a few will watch to keep Sharpton on if just for the one night..His audience might not be around to watch since Saturday is their night to rob and kill.Yeah better change the night these goons won’t be able to go out and beat up old people or kill police officers, to much to ask of them..
I think you need to check the definition of liberal. I doubt a single person at MSNBC- is a liberal.

Cancel all programming and replace it with a 24 hour hamster cage cam. Their ratings will be much higher.
I don’t think MS minds much being associated with crazy libs. I’d guess the split was just a business thing, but it sure seems like there should be a deeper story.
