A few weeks ago, the US Central Command announced that an air raid had killed an ISIS chemical weapon expert in Mosul. The ISIS operative, Iraqi engineer Mahmoud al-Sabawi, used to work at Saddam Husseins chemical weapons program before he joined al-Qaeda in Iraq after the 2003 US led invasion.
The idea that ISIS terrorists have access to chemical weapons brings back images of the genocide inflicted on the Kurds by Saddam Hussein in the late 1980s. The Halabja Massacre killed up to 5,000 and injured between 7,000 and 10,000 more.
If ISIS jihadists have a stash of chemical weapons, they wont hesitate to use them on the Kurdish people or anyone else who has challenged their authority. Since President Obama has just asked Congress to for additional war powers to fight ISIS, it is important to know if the enemy has such weapons.
ISISs chemical weapons aspiration dates back to the very early roots of the group. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the late Jordanian terrorist and the founder of ISIS predecessor organization al-Qaeda in Iraq was very interested in acquiring chemical weapons and using poisons in terrorist attacks.

Beyond disgusted with the DC enablers.
“....the full power of the United Nations Members....”
.
The UN has no power of itself — it is given to them by the US.
You should use the sarcasm tag or didnt you read about the chemical bunkers that they wouldnt go near due to damage and suspected leakage.
Sanctions should make them give them up....
Good.
The rules have always been that the force that uses them first is a legitimate target for attacks in kind.
Chem weapons are easy — lets make some and use them on ISIS.
Hi guy, I hope you are doing well.
The left, state controlled media (sorry I repeat myself), told everyone incessantly there were no WMDs in Iraq...
So now people are finding VX, Sarin, Mustard weapons, not to mention more than a hundred TONs of yellow cake...and Bush lied, people died.
The media are first on the list when the shtf.

Those wacky zealots. Who knew they had an interest in chemistry. This should look good on their resumes. Hey, maybe they can find positions at DHS or TSA.
Are we allowed to use flamethrowers and napalm against these savages?
The rule is much more severe than thst. If they use chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies we bring out the tactical nukes.
They killed 300 Iraqis with chlorine gas, they are certified as nuke targets.
The real question is why Bush didn’t let it be known what was actually found in Iraq. At the time I recall reading about buried stories about some mustard gas, but not the nerve agent.
Well, no, he sent them to Syria, to Basher Al Asshead. Then the press found them, so the Russians took them away from Asshead and disposed of them....by giving them to ISIS.
...or something.
They should use the neutron bomb. It kills the enemy and leaves the sand dunes standing.
I like the way you think.
Dude, I hope you’re kidding. Living in MOPP 4 @ 120+ will kill you.
Either way, this is BS. If these bastards had any WMDs, they would have already employed them.
Impossible. We were told Iraq had no WMDs.
I hope our Marines has their Gas Masks! They will hit them hard withy this stuff before they use it in Baghdad.
“They” are bent on world domination by submission. They need to be defeated, humiliated and terrified.
The societies that spawn these feckless dirtbags need to reign them in, out of fear of guaranteed total annihilation.
