He showed up unannounced and was initially not even invited, but he was prepared all the same.
Rudolph W. Giuliani, the former mayor of New York and one-time Republican presidential hopeful, stepped to the microphone at the 21 Club in Manhattan on Wednesday, for an event ostensibly spotlighting Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin. But by suggesting that President Obama did not love his country, Mr. Giuliani became the story.
His remarks, seemingly out of the blue, were not an isolated outburst....

Not a peep of protest when Preezy Obola invokes The Crusades and The Spanish Inquisition at the National Prayer Breakfast but, wow, don't dare cast aspersions on the prophet or Obama. But I repeat myself.
Rudy will never back down
Millions of Americans know Rudy was right....a modern version of the old fable, “The Emperor’s New Clothes.” The Democrat media is trying hard to convince those millions not to believe their lying eyes, as we see this president trashing America’s reputation at every opportunity.
Newly elected 0bama stated he will fundamentally transform this country. He doesn’t like it the way it is. No fawning media type ever asked 0bama what was fundamentally wrong, but woe be upon anyone like Guiliani who ponders out loud regarding what he meant.
It's as if Rudy has lived the life of a Tibetan Monk for the last 14 years or so and one day he just walked out of the monastery and grabbed the nearest microphone he could find and denounced Preezy Obola.
He shouldn't even address the question itself. Just ignore whatever he's asked and speak his piece on whatever issue he wants to expound on.
And I say this as a non-fan of Giuliani's. Republicans just need to learn to take advantage of these situations. It's the only time they will get a chance to say what they have to say and have the Men Seeking Men media repeat it.
In article, NYT to the core.
I wonder if the New York Times has thought about the substance of Giuliani's remarks. Instead the NYT just writes things already known about the former mayor of New York.
The editorial staff of the NYT is not capable of addressing substance are they? Why would Rudy say that President Obama does not love the USA? Does Rudy have any basis in fact for making such an assertion? Should not that be the story?
Would you like to see, in plain English, evidence of why Obama loves the USA compared to the evidence that Obama does not love this country? Should be very easy to do.
She's been quiet as a churchmouse lately. Or should I say mosquemouse?
You have to pinch yourself - a Marxist radical who all his life has been mentored by, sat at the feet of, worshiped with, befriended, endorsed the philosophy of, funded and been in turn funded, politically promoted and supported by a nexus comprising black power anti-white racists, Jew-haters, revolutionary Marxists, unrepentant former terrorists and Chicago mobsters, is on the verge of becoming President of the United States. And apparently its considered impolite to say so. - Melanie Philips, The Spectator (UK) 10/14/08
I’m with Rudy.
Rudy did the whole country a tremendous service by telling the truth about “The One.”
I saw him interview on the point with Hannity on Fox Cable News.He did not impugn Obama’s patriotism, he simply said that Obama did not act like other American presidents did, and that his actions themselves, as well as what, and how he says things , show that he does not love his country.
I agree. Obama hardly loves the USA or what it represents. He hes done everything he can to weaken our nation from within, and internationally.Obama tales presidential authority and twists it in how he uses it, to hurt the United States. And when the huirt happens he just shrugs and says” I won the election.” Obama should be impeached immediately.
Hillary’s getting ready for her big unveiling right away in March. MSM will be non-stop Hillary. BO’s getting to be too much of a headache to prop up.
I’m so thankful someone finally expressed what we all see Obama doing.
If the Chief Executive Officer of a corporation spends most of his time away from his job, golfing, partying, campaigning, and vacationing, of course no reasonable individual would believe that the executive loves the corporation he works for.
And it’s the same with the current Chief Executive Officer of the U.S., Barack Obama.
Rudy Giuliani is a rare reasonable man with the courage to speak the truth in these dark times. All we can do is be grateful and hope that he continues to speak out, and we should also hope that he will soon joined by other courageous Republicans so that he won’t have to confront the pro-Obama propagandists alone again.
Indeed. Fainting couches' futures went up that week.
She's been quiet as a churchmouse lately. Or should I say mosquemouse?
Her political ear is pure atomic number 50. Maybe she's listening to hubby and keeping her powder dry.
He doesn’t have any prospects of a national political career so he can say openly what many Republicans think but are afraid to say.
And the MSM’s piling up on him is a badge of honor.
The NYT is clearly living on another planet.
Like someone said on another thread. Rudy should just say that he is repeating everything Obama wrote in his book. That is the truth. Tell the liberals to read the book.
