The catcalling press continues to trail after Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, hoping to make an issue over his lack of a college diploma, among other things. But no matter. Mr. Walkers grass-roots appeal and business acumen have made him the victor in a new poll of Iowa voters who rank him top dog among 2016 GOP contenders. The governor garnered 24 percent of the vote; Jeb Bush and Sen. Rand Paul are tied for second place, each with 10 percent. Gov. Chris Christie is in third, followed by Sen. Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, Ben Carson, Sen. Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina. A previous poll in January found Mitt Romney in the lead, this before he ducked out of the White House race but someone has inherited the Mitt mantle.

In the real world, the lack of a college diploma is meaningless! Some of the dumbest people I ever met have college diplomas and could not find their way out of a bathroom!
George Washington didn’t even go to High School.
“his lack of a college diploma”
As if that matters — let alone is bad.
Speaking of diplomas, where’s Buttcrack O’s secret diploma?
If this trend continues, people are going to grow more and more curious about Governor Walker. He should be lining up appearances on shows that can be expected to treat him fairly, and doing his best to put together solid performances when he appears on them. I don’t mean just Fox News, but I do mean avoid MSNBC and it’s ilk completely.
My concern is that he’s not yet ready for the prime-time stage. I have little doubt that he would make a good President, but he could stumble badly as he goes national. Yet his Iowa speech recently is a hopeful sign.
My Governor has awesome computer hacking and nunchuck skills and THAT is what matters!
Love My Gov! :)
"The governor"!
Go Walker.
The whole “college grad”, “evolution question”, “global warming question” -
all of these are simply a leftist religious test.
Say it LOUD AND PROUD
NO LAWYERS
NO IVY LEAGUERS
The MSM is really mad because he has beat them at every turn with their support of the phony recall elections and lies about criminal intent and charges.
You’re right, but these are tests you know in advance are gong to be administered. So why not be prepared? Don’t get me wrong, at this point Walker is my boy, but he’s more than bright enough to come up with a coherent immigration policy, and answers for these trick questions.
Even though I left WI in 1987, I can still call him my gov., and I do. Go Scott, GO!!
There is no one else, except maybe Ted Kennedy.
I think ridicule of the person or entity asking the religious questions is the appropriate response.
That, or pointing out that the assumption behind the questions is religious in nature and that the Constitution prohibits any test of religion for office.
Walker has advantages in Iowa. He’s from a next-door state and has the backing of Iowa Gov. Branstad. That Branstad machine would likely switch to Christie if Walker’s out.
Christie is Chairman of the Republican Governor’s Association and appears with Branstad in Iowa whenever possible.
Rubio gets high on the list because Iowa talk radio shows give him ample interview time.
Iowa is strictly a beauty pageant with no prizes except publicity.
Ok we get it. All Republican presidential candidates are dumb....let’s move on to the issues now.
If you ask me, not having a college diploma gives scott walker a leg up on the Reagan coalition crossovers, at least in the Midwest and south.

I left in 81, but still have a lot of interest in Wisco politics.
