n a latest attempt to capitalize on political and racial controversy, a Ku Klux Klan faction from Mississippi has initiated a “Call to arms in Alabama” in response to federal courts ruling that an amendment to the state constitution banning same-sex marriage was unconstitutional.
The post, which appeared on the United Dixie White Knights’ (UDWK) website and later on Stormfront — the largest online white supremacist forum — championed Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore for defying federal courts and called for Klansmen to leave their robes behind and take to the streets in protest.

So how is it that liberals always feel the need to assume the KKK is a conservative movement? I know the Klan's numbers are minuscule, and that they should be rightly ignored, but where does this disconnect come from...? The Klan supported Democrat politicians back in their heyday... I thought this history was well understood.

They need an education and it only takes one person to point the facts out to them and some will say wow and others will try and deny it. Remember though you have the facts they do not.
Whatever remains of the Klan is likely funded by left-wingers (a la Morris Dees of the hate-group SPLC).
I hear you, but it never works. You say these things and they think you’re flat out lying.
Liberals essential think that ALL Christians are Klan members. I think that is the problem. And they also think that there are millions of people in the KKK and that they’re all over the south. Every white person in the south is a Klan member basically. It’s insane.
Why don’t these people want the truth...? I guess they can’t handle it...?

Haven't you heard?? The current Republican party used to be the Democrat party but they switched roles at some point in time. Back when all of that stuff was happening (civil rights, KKK, etc), it wasn't modern Democrats, it was Democrats that turned into modern day Republicans. At least that's what they are trying to brainwash their current subjects into believing along with re-writing history to favor their side. Try bringing the subject up in a forum full of liberal Democrats and listen to their explanation.
