Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced on Monday night that a federal judge has “granted” his request to “halt” President Barack Obama’s “Executive Amnesty Order” across the country.
Abbott didn’t immediately offer any other details, but promised for information later.

Heard it on Fox news tonight. It’s true.
“The Court specifically refused to address Texas’ other two challenges on the grounds that the record wasn’t yet sufficiently developed.
So, a limited win for Texas. The Feds can in time cure the specific procedural failure the judge identified (but probably not until right around the time Obama leaves office). But not the complete win on principle Texas (and conservatives everywhere) were hoping for.”

Thanks for pointing out the defeatist attitudes here. I have an overall attitude that the system heeds to collapse before we can rebuild and fix because it’s gone so far into fascism that one small step back won’t fix all the problems. BUT I hope I’m wrong so all the suffering won’t be necessary. And I enjoy each of our victories, no matter how small. We have to make it difficult for then, no matter the outcome. Else we are helping them.
What we need is additional states supporting Texas and those who stand with her. Don’t celebrate yet. Remember it wasn’t long ago that Ericka Andiola and her La Raza friends were giving us double one finger salutes. We have to be in this. No rah rahing, no taunting the other team, this is just like football; it goes to the last down...
My new state has! Beats living in Mexifornia, even if it is snowing and supposed to be -8 this week. Who would’ve thought the South had such winters?
