Do you see it on Drudge now?
Jacobson has the link to the entire opinion.

bttt!
Doesn’t matter. Obama will just ignore such a ruling with impunity, as usual.
Kings can’t be told what to do. And quislings in Congress will do nothing about it. THEY are the real problem.
Thanks for posting. Legal Insurrection is not letting the late hour (or the winter weather) keep it from fulfilling its mission.
THIS COURT DECISION IS BIG, BIG, BIG!
The future must not belong to those who would follow Obamas illegal orders.
“They dont want their free stuff taken away from them. So whos going to impeach him or send him to Jail?”
First of all, we are talking about illegals, not citizens, so they are not “entitled to any free stuff.” And the legal citizens are mightily pissed off that Obola is trying to give away the store. This isn’t about impeachment or jail, it’s about stopping an illegal act/process. If the “implementing agencies” try to test the judge, some of them will be hauled in. You start jailing these folks for contempt, and whatever they’ve been doing will stop as I see it. Obola will just have to start playing more golf.
Well and truly stated. so look for more diversions to be spewed by the regime, to keep Americans from focusing upon the lawless little bath house barry bastard boy.
You're a particularly irritating type of trollish infiltrator. Seems you always have the most negative spin to add to any issue Freepers are discussing.
Wanna toss in the towel? Be my guest, but go curl up and die somewhere besides Free Republic, 'kay? Stuff that defeatist talk, or be gone!
No. They are not the real problem. The real problem is the 50+ percent of the electorate that voted for this ass-clown twice.
The federal government will simply ignore this court ruling
I've argued over that same point, multiple times. Fact is, even if the Governor has less legal power than the Lt Governor, he's got the premier bully pulpit from which to drive public debate and opinion, and therefore, action on the part of the state legislature.
It was one of my chief pet peeves with Rick Perry. He rarely used the bully pulpit and influence of his office to positively affect the conditions and fortunes of ordinary Texans. Yeah, he was a friend to big business, but what politician isn't?
Exactly. If this jackass wants to flout the law, then we have a duty, an obligation to ignore his edicts.
I have read through the opinion.
Texas brought three claims: (1) that the Feds violated the procedural requirements of the APA by not publishing the program as a proposed rule and soliciting public comment on it before implementing it; (2) the the program substantively violates the APA; and (3) that the program is unconstitutional.
The Court addressed ONLY the first claim. The court held that since the program confers substantive rights (such as the right to be issued a driver’s license, a right that will cost Texas millions and therefore gave Texas standing to bring suit) on those eligible under the program’s criteria, it involved a substantive change in the law of a kind that had to go through the APA’s public notice and comment process before DHS could adopt and implement it.
The Court specifically refused to address Texas’ other two challenges on the grounds that the record wasn’t yet sufficiently developed.
So, a limited win for Texas. The Feds can in time cure the specific procedural failure the judge identified (but probably not until right around the time Obama leaves office). But not the complete win on principle Texas (and conservatives everywhere) were hoping for.
The Court’s decision on the limited issue it did address seems quite well reasoned, and I predict it stands up on appeal.
No. Do you?
“The injunction is until a final resolution of the merits of this case or until a further order of this court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit or the United States Supreme Court, the judge ordered.”
yahoo!
thanks for the link.
At least it’s not the 9th circus.
“Dont jump to conclusions. The liberals always win in the end.”
You haven’t read the entire Bible then.
“Because Obama never actually signed an order they can not sue to stop it”
That is just too twilight zone to figure out. He never signed an EO, but is mad because congress won’t fund it. Something that technically doesn’t exist.... but is implemented. I guess it’s just a spinoff on illegal immigration laws that do exist but are not spoken of.
