Yoga pants are under attack. Lately, they have been a hot topic on Facebook, blogs and other corners of the web. Some say they are too tight. Others complain that we, as a society, have lost all sense of modesty. The question has been posed: Should women wear yoga pants in public?
For one state legislator in Montana, the struggle against yoga pants is real.
No. Seriously.

Should women wear yoga pants in public? That will require full scale research to decide. I'll get back to you.

I think it should be judged on an individual basis!

Republicans like David Moore are an embarrassment.
We already have laws on the books against indecent exposure - but jailing people for wearing yoga pants?
He needs to stay the hell out of our lives - we have too much governmental interference already.
I’d expect this sort of legislative meddling from a Democrat.
I’m glad his bill was axed.

The etiquette rule in this area is very simple. If you flaunt it, have it. Otherwise, please have respect for others if not for yourself.

Ladies, enjoy your yoga pants now because they’ll be outlawed under sharia law.

I had no idea what yoga pants were until just now
Seems to me you could do the same thing with spray paint

Best part of the story:
“I submit that modesty stereotypes are only one part of a broader problem. Elected officials on a local, state, and national level are too eager to write unnecessary laws, enabling the ever-increasing nanny state to become even more powerful.
And can we stop calling these people lawmakers? It gives them the false sense that they should be involved in writing laws, every day. They are elected to represent us, not impose their fashion sense on the citizenry.
Politicians like Mr. Moore represent what is wrong with the country. Because of busybodies like him, police are cracking down on other public menaces, like children running lemonade stands, high school kids throwing charity car washes, and teenage entrepreneurs shoveling snow out of their neighbors driveway.
No, there shouldnt be a law.
And ladies, I fully support your right to wear yoga pants anywhere you want. See, chivalry is not dead.”
Don’t tread on me. I fully support Americans’ right to live as they want. I want to live in a free country. If Mr. Moore doesn’t like yoga pants, he’s entitled to his opinion. He has no right tell any one else how to live their life.

I think that legislators need to focus on more pressing problems...say, trillions of dollars in debt or criminal invaders?
