The discovery that the Obama’s administration will now allow undocumented immigrants to apply for deferred action and advanced parole simultaneously — opening a path to citizenship — is a “scandal,” Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) said Friday.
“Our laws have been dismantled, stripped bare,” Sessions, the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest, said.
Friday House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte revealed that the Obama administration is now allowing undocumented immigrants to apply for deferred action and advance parole at the same time. According to the House Judiciary Committee, once granted advance parole, the DACA beneficiaries may be able to adjust their immigration status and be placed on a path to citizenship.
“In his executive decree, the President has opened up the possibility that hundreds of thousands of individuals illegally in the United States will be ‘paroled’ and given U.S. citizenship. Such a policy extends birthright citizenship to the foreign-born who unlawfully set their feet upon American soil,” Sessions said.
“It is an offense to the very idea of citizenship as something sacred, precious, and treasured,” he added.
The Alabama Republican expressed that perhaps the newest scandal will help encourage Senate Democrats to break their filibuster of the House-passed Department of Homeland Security funding bill that blocks Obama’s executive amnesty.

Sen. Sessions can’t do it by himself. He has been warning about this all for years. He and the few other true conservatives need help or we are done.
Sessions may well be the last sane person in Washington.

Senator Sessions is not among that crowd of cronies. He is a true Patriot, and is aligned with what constitutes the remaining spine of the conservatives in the Senate. Not a McConnell man. Recall that McConnell pointedly steered a non-Judiciary committee member “seniority” lacky to take the chairmanship of the Senate Judiciary Committee from Sessions as the ranking Republican in the old Senate, because of Sessions stance against the lame duck cromnibus McConnell wanted passed, fast before the new blood Senators sweeping the elections came into 2015. He paid for this by losing the chairmanship.
Sessions was one of 25 senators to oppose the establishment of TARP. He has opposed the Democratic leadership since 2007 on most major legislation, including the stimulus bill, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Repeal Act. When he was the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, he opposed both of President Barack Obama’s nominees for the Supreme Court.
He is not shy about his conservative beliefs and backs it up with action. Deo Vindice.

Comments that are tedious and pointless as far as I’m concerned.
On an unrelated note... Did I mention that I saw Trower last October? He had a younger singer that was pretty good — more bluesy than the other fellow that accompanied him over recent years.
Do not imprison him....I do not want to feed him another day once he is found guilty for treason.

Even our side now is using the words of undocumented instead of illegal just like many use the word gay instead of homosexuals. If our side is going to use their words and not call it for what it is then how do we beat the left on their agenda?
As for this amnesty, then Sessions and the other others need to get some guts and stop this insanity.

House Speaker John Boehner challenged Senate Democrats Wednesday to “get off their ass” and pass a bill to fund the Homeland Security Department and restrict President Barack Obama’s executive moves on immigration.
A day earlier, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell declared the Senate “stuck” on the issue and said the next move was in the House’s court.
Boehner rejected that, insisting the House has already done its job. He said Senate Democrats are at fault for blocking a House-passed bill that funds the department through the remainder of the budget year while also overturning Obama’s policies limiting deportations for millions here illegally.
