CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Corpus Christi police responded to a one-vehicle crash just after 2:30 a.m. Thursday and found that the driver had fled the scene on foot -- but not without leaving behind his prosthetic arm.
The accident happened in the 400 block of Highway 286. Police say the vehicle had been going in the wrong direction and was driven off the overpass, becoming airborne before dropping down onto Laredo Street. The driver of the vehicle, 23-year old Juan Gutierrez, fled on foot without his prosthetic arm. He was spotted by police not far from the scene.
A passenger in the car, who was left behind at the scene, was transported to Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Police determined that Gutierrez was intoxicated at the time of the accident. He was taken to Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital to be treated for minor injuries before being booked into the City Detention Center for DWI.

Meaning “Good one” - liked him in “Path to Paradise” - I thought he did a decent job.

If he’s lost his car, he’ll need a hand getting home.

A local doctor, Richard Kimble, claimed that Gutierrez had just run over his wife.

He was dis-armed at the time of his arrest.

Let me guess. He left the prosthesis attached to the wheel so he could carry the beer with his good hand.

Well, this will probably get blamed on Dr. Richard Kimble instead of George W. Dubya probably wont mind a little break. They're still dragging the spillway pool below Fontana Dam, looking for Dr. Kimble's body.

If Juan was a muslim, he could depend on Obama to re-arm him.

Didn’t know he’d passed away. While I knew he was in many Trek episodes, he’ll always be The Fugitive’s one armed man to me.
