I would not look for Williams to come back, this is just helping him save face.

I Bing-ed “Brian Williams bio” and under the short bio that appeared on the right-hand side of the screen were other news anchors. The pictures of Tom Brokaw and Mike Wallace looked like much shots which seemed somehow appropriate.

Where’s that Powers Booth picture?

My take on this, others have come to this conclusion as well, Brian Williams is over at NBC ... he won’t be back.

What is Bri going to come back as in six months?
A half-year old joke?
To: servo1969
By his actions, Brian has jeopardized the trust millions of Americans place in NBC News. Now that's just not true. I trust NBC just as much now as I did before Williams grew a clown nose. Two words, baby: Al Sharpton. Jump back, Jack.

Is this an attempt at making us believe that NBC actually values honesty?
It's not working (at least not with me)

Hmmm. How much money does floundering NBC save by not paying their anchor for the next six months?

I’ve been following this closely. There are comments in some articles claiming lybri and Turness are having an affair. Would explain why she fears for her job, no?
