A father in Seminole County, Florida, is raising concerns after he discovered a lesson on Islam in his sons 10th-grade history textbook, a book that is also used by school districts across the state.
In an interview with WFTV, the father, Ron Wagner, read from his sons history book:
There is no god, but God. Muhammad is the messenger of God.
Wagner also claimed that students were told to recite this prayer as the first Pillar of Islam, off of the board at the teachers instruction.
Wager said hes not a religious man, but making such a heavily religious lesson mandatory and part of the curriculum just didnt seem right. He wasnt even aware such lessons were being taught until he saw a text on his sons phone from a teacher a reminder to complete his prayer rug assignment and study an assigned packet on Islam.
The textbook in question is titled World History by publisher Prentice Hall. WFTV has more on the content in the chapter on Islam:
Inside of the book is a chapter dedicated to the Rise of Islam, including prayers and scriptures from the Quran. Whats more disturbing for Wagner is that the first 100 pages discussing Judaism and Christianity are missing. The district blames a manufacturer defect in 68 books that are only a year old.

So I’m assuming they’re teaching Christianity at the school as well? What about Judaism? Buddhism? No?
Obama is a Muslim. Why do you think he pushes for a Federal education curriculum via Common Core? Indoctrination.
Of course, most Dems aren’t Muslims, but they are statists, and they like the indoctrination aspect of a common curriculum under Federal control, and then there’s the union aspect, as well. For whatever reason (do run of the mill union teachers care what they teach), the NEA lines up with this plan, too.
Insidious evil.

Yeah, thats the ticket.
Public schools are child abuse!
Hey, this is a one-way ratchet, and it is NOT favoring the “even-handed” instruction in the comparison of religions.
Truth to be told, Islam is not a religion in the accepted sense, no more than the Nationalist Socialist German Workingmen’s Party of the Third Reich, or the widely celebrated International Socialism that took root in Czarist Russia and at one time held nearly half the world’s population in its thrall. It is an ideology, and should be branded as such.
Commie Core is going to teach your children clean beheading techniques, the proper way to beat wives and children so they don’t get caught, and proper stoning methods (i.e. which rocks inflict more damage, proper skipping merthods when more than one wife is being punished, proper throwing techniques, etc..
Christians must get their children out of the federal schools and into traditional private or home school.
“recite this prayer as the first Pillar of Islam, off of the board at the teachers instruction”
which automatically makes the one who recites it a Muslim, whether he knows it or not.
According to Islam once you repeat the Shahada you have converted to Islam. So this teacher is asking his students, as well as the book, to convert to Islam.
Pretty sure we had several Supreme Court cases about making children recite prayers.....But, of course, such things don’t apply to Islam.
You won’t hear a peep out of the ACLU on this.
Today’s America is the same as in Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The people who catch on early are ridiculed, silenced, or killed. Then when the sheep find out, it is too late.
Mohammed, may pigs be upon him, was a murdering pedophile.
“...the rise of islam...” the subjugation of the populace, the enslavement of women. It requires jihad (war and death), not sipping hot tea and smoking hashish at the corner deli with your bohemian buds. Seems the text book left out the important stuff.
