...owners of an Oregon bakery who declined to make a cake for a same-sex couples wedding celebration were found guilty last week...will have to pay up to $150,000 for violating the Oregon Equality Act of 2007.
...Aaron said the fine would bankrupt the couple and their five children.

did you hear about how a muslim could grow a beard in prison because it was his religious rights the court said.
I guarantee the same courts would say that Christians cannot have religious rights when it comes to homosexuality but muslims could.
I would have a special “gay recipe” just for those special occasions, not written down of course. The cake would have just a little more salt and a little less sugar. Also, an occasional hair in the icing here and there. Can’t help it if people don’t like the way it tastes...darn, did We put too much salt in it...so sorry, I’ll be more careful next time. If you got a bad cake from a baker, you would complain...in this case you would also give a satisfaction guarantee. And you would replace the cake for free later, after the queer nuptial was over, in which case it would now be a replacement cake, not a wedding cake. Baking a second cake would be cheaper than paying a fine, and who could prove it wasn’t just a mistake?
so using their logic they can override any state laws they seem fit because of the supremacy clause which was placed there.
People argued back in the day about putting this in but because emotions were high after the war or 1861- 1865 then it passed and now we have a farce or Presidents like bozo placing federal judges on the benches and have them stay there forever.
nail on head.
This is about an agenda not a cake, they had other places to go but instead targeted these people for their agenda and to then get money. They are sick people who only care about their own agenda and ruining others lives
Anybody know the judge’s name? Seems it rarely ever appears in the articles. Lot of laws, not much justice these days.
Yes let’s start a Heterosexual Defense Fund and use it for queer winning ruling over Christian businesses...
Read the article.
Ready being done in Colorado. Needs to be started in Oregon, too.
Appeal.
This is more about destroying true marriage, period.
Yeah, why would you ever eat something you coerced someone into preparing for you? Deliver an ugly, bad tasting monstrosity with a smug smile. “Go ahead, eat it. I dare you.” Of course, for the gaystapo it isn’t about the cake or services at all, it is about forcing behavior and some kind of sick recognition. Those people disgust me, and that is not due to what they do in the bedroom, but because of their behavior everywhere else.
Queers: "We are the 2.3%". 07/15/2014 192kb.pdf
Amazing how such a small, small percentage of society can demand, and get, such an outsized amount of attention.
Outstanding!
When a baker is approached to bake a cake for a gay wedding it should ALWAYS be decorated with Lev 18:22 written on it.
If they don’t like the cake, too bad. Rebake them one with another anti-gay scripture on it. You can drag this out until the “wedding” is over. What can they say? You tried to bake the cake for them but they didn’t like your baking.
I know some states will revoke your DL if you owe money, VA is one of them
and I'm not sure about others. It's not broadcasted and very difficult to
figure out which cause or state does until it's you that gets in their
way of your money.
Good people are doing nothing, and it makes you wonder how many
Lawyers in the pews are staying silent when they could be helping.
Might be satisfying to do it that way, but it is not the Christian way. Christians are to do their work unto the Lord, to the best of their ability. The best alternative I can see other than refuse to bake it at all is to have prominent signage stating something like “Notice: All proceeds received from the sale of cakes that celebrate homosexual unions will be donated to (insert homosexual reparative therapy ministry of choice). Thank you in advance for your support of this valuable ministry!” The homosexual clients would likewise be given a loud, enthusiastic “thank you” for their donation to the ministry at the time of purchase.
They can fight back but are not. The Constitution has become a suicide pact
through pure ignorance.
If you look at provable housing discrimination cases as precedence, $15000 to $30000 is the typical fine. $150000 for not baking a cake? Administrative law “judges” findings are overturned daily.
