Well, it may have been a fake gun, but the robber was also wrestling with him, and the intended victim was pushed over backward. So I think he had a right to defend himself even if the robber hadn’t had a fake gun.

Has anyone seen the Quannell X police training report? He has a whole new attitude on police shootings.

In one exercise a guy with a baby in his arms rushes toward him pointing a knife. Quannell shot the guy. He was asked when he saw the knife. Quannell said “To be honest, I never saw the knife. Didn’t mention where he got the tattoo but it seems to be by Smith and Wesson——and it’s sometimes called a one-shot inking. Dammed effective in any case. A friend of mine lived in a sketchy neighborhood. When I told her I hoped she was careful and didn't sleep with her windows open she showed me her plastic hand gun. I had thought up to then that she was an intelligent woman.

I have a husband, no telling how many guns in our bedroom, four dogs and a good alarm system. She had nothing but a plastic toy gun. I feel pretty safe.
