When Obama first entered the White House, he had the bust of Winston Churchill removed. It was assumed it was because of British Colonialism in Kenya. Maybe it was due to things said about Obamas religion.
Quoted from Churchill over 100 years ago:
"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step, and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it (Islam) has vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.
I'm not a religious person but I pray that you are right.
Sure looks that way.
Thank you for posting this information. Like you, I have a very great respect for the education levels of some of the older authors, especially those of the nineteenth century. I would like to call your attention to this book-
http://www.amazon.com/Life-General-Nathan-Bedford-Forrest/dp/B000SSVH1K/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1423185612&sr=8-5&keywords=The+life+of+General+Nathan+bedford+forrest by John Allan Wyeth. The author’s life is one of the most interesting I have heard of, having actually served under Gen. Forrest. I think that you will thoroughly enjoy the book, if you haven’t already read it. Again, thanks for your post about Churchill’s book.
THe mulatto muslim needs to spend the rest of his worthless life in Gitmo in a sort of Spandau of the 21st century.
I believe that this is a URL to John Allan Wyeth’s autobiography online-

I haven’t figured out how to download it, or if that is possible.
It is actually six volumes and each one is really thick. A whole lot of telegrams between him and Roosevelt.
It is a major undertaking.
Well, at least we know the bust of Churchill is safe in Britain’s hands. God only knows what ELSE has been LOOTED from OUR White House.
Avenge Gordon Pasha!
No. Obama would love the tropical climate and Muslim amenities provided to Gitmo detainees. Attu Island at the far tip of the Aleutians would be a better choice.
If I remember right, Viscount Garnet Wolseley fought his way in to Khartoum only to discover he was just late. Chinese Gordon had been executed by the Muslims the day before.
the first thing that the successor to the White House muslim should be is to ask the brits to give it back to us
He wath killed by the Mahdi, who hath the thacred thpace between hith teef.
The first thing the next President should do is apologize to the world for our election of Buckwheat as president.
That book has an interesting Wikipedia entry. The first edition was published in 1899. Churchill turned 25 on 30 November 1899.
Interesting factoid from the Wikipedia:
Churchill returned to England to complete his leave, before returning to India for three months and finally resigning from the army. As a direct result of Churchill's writings, a rule was introduced prohibiting serving officers from also acting as war correspondents. This was one factor contributing to his leaving the army, since his earnings from writing were some five times greater than his army pay during his three years of army service.[2]:125-126
In 1902, Churchill became an MP.
Winston Churchill Day is the 9th of April, every year. It was on that day in 1963 that Churchill was made, by act of Congress, an honorary citizen of the United States. Churchill’s mother was, of course, American.
There are six volumes (in paperback, anyway). I’m halfway through volume 1. Great to read.
Here’s something for your listening enjoyment:

There was an excellent movie about this with Charlton Heston playing Chinese Gordon.
I saw it years ago. It was a good movie but knowing what was eventually going to happen made it hard for me to watch.
