The day the Internet becomes a public utility regulated by the rectal openings in D.C. is the day I quit using it.

Net neutrality may be a worthy concept, but the problem as always is that the Left has hijacked this issue. the chances that we will now have censorship on the Internet has just increased ten-fold with this "ruling".

I still need to learn what, exactly, does NET NEUTRALITY mean? That is an innocuous phrase , a contrived description that could mean anything.
I just want to know if the new label will increase the price for the same bandwidth, and if so, by how much? I also want to know if a customer says ‘no
, they do not want their history collected or their geographic location known, will we still have that choice, or has the choice of staying private always been an illusion?

how does the FCC regulate that which does not terminate in the CONUS
To: Jim Robinson
Although the internet began as a loose connection of government and university servers, it has grown way beyond that to be mostly private-sector business servers now, right?
So wouldn't this ruling by the FCC be essentially nationalizing the internet by effectively seizing control of private property in the name of business servers and fiber optic cables?
Shouldn't there be at least a Fifth Amendment takings issue here?

I had an idea to bounce around on FREE REPUBLIC. How about the GOP passes legislation thru both the House and Senate and say its something OBAMA has said he would veto. Well don’t send it to him. Say its an EXECUTIVE ACT OF CONGRESS. When WH says thats not on Consitution say well neither are most of your EO’s...force a court fight over it since they seem to spineless to impeach or even charge him with sedtion for obviously being on the side of the jihadists who are our enemies.
