Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura ratcheted up his rhetoric against Chris Kyle, the subject of the widely cheered American Sniper movie, suggesting that the now-deceased U.S. Navy SEAL was hardly the hero that hes painted that if you think about it, even the Nazis had heroes.
A hero should have honor, Mr. Ventura said during an interview on Fox News Radio with Alan Colmes. A hero is not how many people youve killed. You know hes obviously a great sniper. Hes obviously a great shot. He obviously did his job correctly. Alan, let me fire this one at you: Do you think the Nazis have heroes?
Mr. Colmes said the Nazis fought for a cause we cant condone, the transcript of the interview stated.
And Mr. Venturas reply: Wait. Wait. Wait...

More of the lefts “support for the troops”
I believe it’s jealousy.
Put your tights back on and crawl back under your rock.
Jesse, your 15 minutes of fame expired a long time ago. Now you’re just a blithering idiot. Shut up and go away.
He’s come on Mike Trivisanno’s talk show here in Cleveland a few times. Calls himself “Mr. Blue.” Total butt wart!
For a time I though Ventura might redeem himself by beating the heck out of Michael Moore. But this blows that chance for him. He is a kindred spirit of Moore, and climbed into bed with him.
Jesse’s having ring flashbacks, where you’re supposed to act like a total jerk and everybody knows you’re just acting. This is real life, Jesse. Put the feather boa down and just back away.
Then Jesse Ventura is certainly nobody's hero.
Yes, the Nazi’s had soldiers that they considered heroes. So did the Japanese, and I hold out the possibility that the Italians also could have.
So what? A good interviewer pins him down on that. So what, Jesse? What’s your point? Are you calling him a Nazi? Are you calling the people who consider him a hero, Nazis? Watch him backtrack, then keep after him. Alan Colmes, a man who became famous by regularly being outsmarted by Sean Hannity, doesn’t have the brains to do that.
Ventura is proof getting whacked over the head multiple times with a folding chair is bad for one’s mental health.
Jesse seems to be suffering from a serious case of envy...
Dunno about “psychiatry” but it is a shameful p-ssing match. Sometimes it is time to be a gentleman and just agree that there is a disagreement, and that only God can solve it.
Whoops, except Ventura is a proud atheist. What a fix.
Just keep diggin’ Jesse.
i wish this man ventura could find in himself just a jot of sympathy for the soldier’s wife and children, just a smidgen of gratitude for a man whom i believe thought of himself as a servant, a loyal sheep dog (his dad’s analogy from the movie), not a hero.
went with the Nazi card - how original
diggin’ Jesse? or diggin’, Jesse?
