Vincenzo Giovanni Ruello an experimental photographer from Australia has discovered what he claims to be the second shroud in existance in 2011 when he processed the Vatican Veronica Veil. The disturbing images show an identical face to the Shroud of Turin but tortured and battered with an eye bashed closed, fractured cheek, severe bruising. Gloria tv is screening the historical discovery never since Secondo Pia in 1898 has the world seen such images. http://gloria.tv/media/1cbGFGbq6Je
It has to be different cloth one was a burial shroud expensive they say this was a hanky
No its the hanky Bernice wiped His face with some think its the legendary Edessa cloth
Im surprised too not many know about this and by posts on the net by other shroud sites they seem to not want to know either
I copied one too its too special but I revere it not worship it we must worship God in spirit hope Vincenzo doesnt mind
The cloth on his face in the tomb is held in Oliviedo Spain it has no hidden images
Her real name was Bernice or Seraphia I did a research project on this years ago but never knew about this
Thats the Edessa cloth which is this veil held in Rome it has to be, the sudarium is in Spain and has no images
No miracle we have now 2 miraculous photos of Jesus they cant work out the first one and now this hahahhahahaha scientists will go bananas
You are wrong because the 2nd century manuscript called Gospel of the Hebrews stated that Jesus gave ‘’ the linen cloth ‘’ to the servant of the priest and the he appeared to James his brother. This is the shroud of turin they are writing about but not many people know about Gospel of the hebrews, its evidence of the Turin Shroud from 2nd century hidden from the world by corrupt historians and news media who hate the Shroud of Turin. This proves God wanted the Shroud or Shrouds now to be protected as evidence in this Godless world to be made visible not to be worshipped but to be respected and leave you in awe its made by God not man, no commandments have been broken by people who revere these cloths
Of course you think I don’t understand. That’s fine. I know the biblical basis for my beliefs. I also know Who I know.
Altars are for sacrifices. With Christ’s death on that cross, it was finished. His one sacrifice completely satisfied the demands of the law. His one sacrifice took away sins of many (Hebrews 9:28), so no more sacrifices will ever be needed. I’m a traditional Baptist and we reject the Catholic mass and the pseudo-mass of some Protestant churches. We observe the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper, wherein we remember and honor Christ’s work on the cross. Christ’s body isn’t sacrificed in an unbloody manner in our services. Since we have no sacrifice, we don’t have an altar. We don’t have altar calls either.
We do have one lone cross in the sanctuary. It’s carved into the wood of the pulpit. If it ever became anything more than adornment, I suspect the vote to do away with it would be unanimous.
It wasnt placed over his face its the cloth that wiped his face when he fell by Bernice
So King Hezekiah was like a Muslim when he destroyed the brazen serpent made by Moses? The Bible says he did what was right, but you know better. I agree with Matthew Henry, “Good things, when idolized, are better parted with than kept.”
“Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.” (1 John 5:21)
One last thought, if I were anything like a Muslim, I would have destroyed the Catholic church near my home. I would have put a match to the LDS temples and Christian Science Reading Rooms. I despise tattoos, so I would wipe out tattoo parlors. I would take a bulldozer to the fortune teller’s trailer in the next county, too. But I’m not a Muslim and I don’t have a Muslim mindset. I would never consider doing such things.
I expect very few to agree with me. In fact, I know most never will. I’m able of discussing a controversial topic without resorting to childish insults. All I do is make my case and leave the changing of hearts and minds to the Lord.
Yes, if such a robe were in my possession and the people in my church were using it as an idol, based on the Bible I believe it would be better to burn it than to allow such a practice to continue. However, if others want to “venerate” such an object, I won’t stand in their way. I’m not afraid of liberty.
The Bible doesn't include any physical description of Jesus.
The thing about miracles is that they require faith.
I have faith in the the Creator.
Tie Dyed cloth from the middle ages? Not so much. But I do not need sparkly things and relics. I just have to look at my children, look out the window, and my dog to know that stuff is made for a reason. And I cannot possibly comprehend it. I trust in the Lord.
To each his own.
I thought ifinnegan was making a reference to “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” when he said he already had one. The french knights told King Arthur that they already had a holy grail, so they weren’t interested in joining his quest. Then they launched a cow from a catapult at Arthur. “Fetchez la vache!” - Get the cow.
Yes.
Why is the first pic of Kenny Loggins?
Bernice got corrupted into Veronica fairly easily because of the words Vera Icon mean True Image in Latin and the play on words lead both into Veronica. St. Veronica.
Why would I be wrong for criticizing someone who claims he would most likely destroy it? Perhaps you addressed this to the wrong person?
