"......Asked about Democrat Hillary Clinton's possible presidential run, Walker said she represents the past:
"I think people want to look to the future. They don't want to go back in time, they don't want to repeat what we've had in the past. We need a candidate not of the 20th century, but of the 21st century."
Walker said Clinton is a Washington insider: "She lives here, she's worked here, she's been part of the Washington structure for years. Not just as a Democrat, but across the spectrum. I think Washington represents the top-down, government knows best, go along to get along mentality. I think Americans overwhelmingly want fresh new ideas that build the economy from the ground, that put the power back in the hands of the people, not only at the state and local level, but of individual Americans. I don't think they want government telling them what to do, and that's what I've been advocating for a long time."...

Waffling now on amnesty. Before this he was for it. No sale.
Cruz
I agree with all Walker says, but he did say he can see a pathway to citizenship for illegals, any way he wants to back track on it, he said it, my vote goes to the one who says what he means and means what he says.
So far that one is Cruz, he is consistent in his conservative ideology, flip flop is not in his persona, not to say he can’t be wrong but if and when he is; he will own up to it, not try and weasel his way out.
Walker is right. So far it looks like my choice.
Walker said he's not advocating deportation.
Doubletalk. Not ignoring the laws means deporting people. They all say they aren't for amnesty, even McCain. Sure they get to stay here, and eventually become citizens, but they'll pay some taxes supposedly, so it's not really amnesty. Cut the crap and at least be honest.
Walker is on record supporting amnesty the past 2 years. He lies.
The title looked promising.
Then I open it and find out Walker used to support illegal immigration.
Figures. Seems like he may fit in well with the GOP leadership.
Is Walker for amnesty? I guess that depends on what the meaning of “is” is. Or “amnesty”.
Cruz
Yeah. He is walking that back now that he is getting some love from press outlets and being crowed the “right’s choice”.
He is their set-up to be knocked down when Jeb is officially in, and he can siphon votes off of Cruz.
this is the same thing they did in 2012.
I’m not falling for this. Too bad there are a number here that are.
We need “New Car Smell” not old broad stench.
Well Walker, I think she just drank your milkshake.
AHAH, against amnesty.
Walker, Cruz, who cares, by the time they make it through to the nomination, the Democrats will come up with an October surprise, like one of them bullied a classmate in middle school and gave him a wedgie. I’d take either one of them, so long as he can unite the party and get the independent voters out. Give the Independents a candidate they will leave home to vote for and the election is yours.
Walker is reading from the GOPe script handed to him by Jeb.
It appears many are settling for the pale pastels of Walker, instead of the Bold Colors Cruz offers.
Its as if millions of people suddenly and collectively forget the dire constitutional straits were in, all the wreckage that must be reversed, repealed, rolled back; and are comforted by the safe vanilla, status-quo of Walker, who has not promised to destroy a single travesty or policy or law that the RATS have strangled us with... just vague ‘the States should eventually re-take power...’
I scarcely recognize FR after the last couple of weeks.
Of course he’s for amnesty—as he then admits.
But all pols claim that they’re against it, because the American people are against it.
Scott Walker will prevail. May God protect him and his family.
